Pharr Mill Brewery

I'm on a quest to go to every Brewery in North Carolina and I rarely share them on Yelp, but I was thoroughly impressed with this one. I was in Concord for an event and hadn't been here so I wanted to check it out. The bartender was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the beer zone tap. I chose the Shifty hazy IPA and was very impressed. It was honestly one of the best hazy ipas I've ever had. I was disappointed that they did not have it in cans or I would have taken them home. If you're in Concord definitely swing by and check out this place.

My review is based off of service and the awesomeness of that monster beef rib I purchased.Before this visit, I had only heard about this location. Not being a beer drinker, this was not really on my radar... until I saw that they were now selling beef ribs. At this time, they only sold them about one or twice per week. Having gained an affinity for beef ribs from a famous BBQ joint outside of Charlotte, to have an opportunity to have them within a few minutes drive seemed too good to be true. After arriving and placing my order, I conversed with the young man taking orders at the bar about the joys of all things bbq and how I'd been talking this place for a few weeks now. He informed me that I would be in for a treat as their ribs were superb. After a short wait, I received my bag and I went home. Let me tell you, I fancy myself a bit of a food photographer but my picture did not do this rib justice. For that I apologize... it was epic. I took a bite... why do I hear "Careless Whisper" playing in my head?? Truly the things dreams are made of...Long story short, great food, great service, great location. This place is A1! I highly recommend you give these guys your business and if they have beef ribs for sale that day... well you know what to do.

This is such a hidden gem! The ambiance is always very chill. The pork belly tacos are something I dream of regularly. The wings were like a 9/10. Would be a 10 but they were slightly messy. That's the only downfall. The brews are always solid too. I hope this place never leaves!

Food is great here - lots of smoked options... wings, pulled pork, brisket and loaded baked potatoes. Service is great and folks are helpful. Recently upgraded seating and bar area - outside seating as well. Gotta check it out. Great spot for a brew and food hits the spot.

We have been wanting to try this brewery for a while - BBQ AND BEER is a great combination! The food is very good, and I'll definitely be back to try their ribs (they were out when we visited)While the food and beer were great, there were a couple things that kept me from a 5 star review. 1. There was music bingo Sunday afternoons, which sounds fun. But - the DJ had the music so loud that I'm pretty sure people a block over could have participated with no trouble. I like listening to good music, but when you're literally yelling at the people next to you, it's not a great experience. 2. My pet peeve - no changing table in the men's restroom. There's room for it, and Dads should be able to bring their kids out without worrying where they'll be able to change a diaper. I don't know if there was one in the women's restroom, but any place that's open to families should have a changing table available.

So I have frequented this spot a handful of times, things that are good.-Smoked Agave wings , like ridiculously good.-Tacos, any and all are solid.-Don't be a Menace and Jitter-bean are such good beers.Now onto some food to maybe try but just be aware of a few points.- The Macinator, looks good, and is good, BUT not enough meat is used and there is ALOT of bun to it. Like so much bun, too much, but good still.-The pork belly burnt ends, good flavor but just way too fatty for me. They are good, but just very soft. I guess maybe that's the way they should be, but I didn't love it.-It's a great little place, drink local!Side note-They need to have some more bar games there, and fix the shuffleboard table, it's real rickety and the weight pieces are all broke.

I'm really trying to like this place, but get a little disappointed each time I go We got rushed off last night to close out our bar tab - I guess it was a Thursday night and they're not open past 9pm so that's on us for going there in the first placeBut it WAS the start of a holiday weekend so you would've thought the owner would've taken advantage of the crowd, instead of announcing to everybody they need to close out their bar tab. The beers are OK - nothing to rave aboutI did like the margarita seltzerService is mediocre It wouldn't hurt for them to invest a few dollars in there shuffleboard table game. Maybe some new pucks and sand.Really the only thing I like about it is that it's local and modest and we try to support these types of businesses. Not sure when we'll get the motivation to go back.We do tend to get desperate here in Harrisburg, because there's not much around ‍We will probably try again.

This place sucks, had 6 beers on draft and only had bbq ribs. They were out of everything else. The only reason we went was for the bbq, beer variety and reviews.

Great food and very solid beers. We got brisket sandwich, wings, and brisket nachos, all were very good and the queso sauce was excellent. For beers, we tried the coffee blonde, Vienna lager, and hazy IPA. It was a great chill spot.

I've lived in Harrisburg all my life and did not know this existed up until couple weeks ago... I saw that they had pork belly and that was all I needed to know and it was very good
