Update time! I was in the area yesrerday (again) and was craving Indian (again). I figure I would give this place a try (again). Thankfully there were no delays today. The server was friendly and there was an Indian sister cooking in the back so I was excited. The reataurant was clean and the food station was set up nicely. They had a really nice selection of dishes on the lunch buffet -- half vegetarian options and half meat. Well, one type of meat... chicken. They had three rice dishes and tons of sauces. I tried a little bit of everything and I was very pleased with the food. Their meat options include chicken tika masala, chicken vindaloo, tandoori chicken, and green chicken. The winning dish? The GREEN CHICKEN. Whatever seasoning they had on the green chicken that made it that color was delicious and brought out the the full flavor of the chicken. Sooooo juicy and tender! I wish I had bucket of it right now!! Their dishes were well seasoned and the flavor profile was full of of complexity as they did not shy away from the spices. What made the dishes even better was the fact that they were SPICY right off of the buffet. It is appreciated that they did not hold back and try to cater to the normal Western palate. Thir hot tea (I assumed it was chai) was rich and earthy and completed the experience in the best of ways.On my way out, I spoke with an Indian lady who ordered take out. She said thaat this place is her favorite Indian restaurant because it tasted like home cooked meals.A few knocks. I know the tandoori chicken is supposed to be a little dry, but man, I wish it wasn't. The chicken tika masala was very juicy when it was hot, but when it cooled down, it was a little tough. How donyou avoid this? Eat your food while it is hot. The garlic naan was tough and not garlicky at all. Boo. Those things aside, the food is great overall.Fair warning... the ladies in the booth behind me found a hair in their food and walked out. I'm sure it was legit because they literally just sat down after getting their first plate from the buffet. The staff was very nice about it and so were the ladies.

This place has four stars on Yelp and after a delivery experience, I think that's exactly the perfect rating!I'll start by saying everything was great with the delivery. Delivery driver was friendly and the food got here within an hour from ordering it.The restaurant has a huge menu so lots of options. I ordered butter naan and the chicken vindaloo. The portions are MASSIVE with respect to the vindaloo. The naan portion was standard. The naan was okay. It was a little chewy. The vindaloo was good, I think, but so extremely spicy I couldn't finish it and didn't enjoy it. That's probably a reflection of me and not of the restaurant. I like spicy food but this was just over the top, in my opinion. That being said, the food was beautiful and the portions were amazing and the chicken vindaloo is probably a huge hit if you like extremely spicy food. The last thing is I wish they provided cutlery or at least had an option to request it on the ordering site. I had a spoon but I would have loved to eat this with a fork!

This place takes extremely long for takeout, the staff is not personable and our final straw this time was that my husband ordered lamb tikka masala and they gave him lamb with a pieces of chicken mixed in subtly, but charged him lamb prices. That is not ethical. Pay attention to your orders to make sure you are not getting taken advantage of.

This restaurant is very expensive for what it is. You aren't offered a drink but instead you're given a warm Kirkland water bottle at your table. I took my co workers here yesterday and they had never tried Indian cuisine. The food was NOT fresh in my opinion (my naan was literally as crispy as a rice cake) and there are no real descriptions of the dishes at the buffet. I had to dig in the chicken dishes to even find a piece of chicken. I'm sad to say we'll never return

We got two different dishes for takeout and both were very good. One was a new dish for us and had some real heat to it! The naan was also delicious.

They have a seriously good buffet which is priced very fairly on weekdays. I typically don't eat enough to make an $18+ price point buffet worth it.The lunch buffets are very diverse and have great vegetarian and meat options. The seasoning and spice levels are also nice. This is clearly an authentic Indian place. If you like "Americanized Indian" you won't like this restaurant. They don't use a lot of cream and mild flavor profiles. This place has become a staple for me! Love the lunch buffet!

My visit to Persis Biryani Indian Grill is the BEST experience that I have ever had with an Indian Restaurant! At this point in my foodie journey, I will have to say, PBIG has the BEST Indian food that I have ever had! Customer Service is excellent here! Staff are so pleasant and professional. A refreshing experience! Food is excellent! Every food item that we ordered was correct, hot and fresh. Very flavorful & delicious!I ordered Gobi 65, Garlic Naan & a Taj Mahal to start. The Gobi was requested at a Spice Level of 4. It was amazing! So tasty! The naan here is light & crispy. Really good! Not chewy. For entrees, we ordered Chicken Saag, Malai Kofta & Goat Curry. Spice Levels varied but I stick with a 4 for my Chicken Saag and it was great! I love the brightness of the restaurant due to all the windows. There are booths & tables. They do serve alcohol. We will definitely return, as this is now our go to Indian Restaurant! Cannot wait to try more dishes!

I had high hopes for this place and finally tried it since I was coming by in the hours of dinner time. I though I'd try the goat for once. Prices changed from Whomever posted the menu 9 months ago unless that was the lunch menu. Goat Pepper fry was $16.99 not $12.99. Too good to be true. It was a small portion for the price and kinda expected bones as usual. The garlic naan was like warm and not buttery. The Double ka meetha/shahi tukda was just a plain slice of bread (Great Value) in sweetened milk. Pure sogginess and about 3 pieces of nuts and 2 raisins. The bread was nasty alone and wasn't toasted. I just spooned around for the milk. I spent to much on this experience.

Consistently spot on Indian food. We went to eat inside the few times, and each time we were taken care of immediately with great service. The quality and taste of their dishes is wonderful. You need to try their butter chicken, perfection. Not fancy inside, go as you are, no worries. They do a lot of takeout, so getting a seat there is easy. We also had their naan mixed basket, thin and soft with crisp edges. Delightful. Their garlic chicken basmati rice was delicious and abundant. Their samosa is a treat as well. Enjoy

First, I'm so glad to see an Indian buffet back. That said, this was a bit underwhelming. They indicate vegan options, but there were only two real options.. a cabbage dish that wasn't very pleasing, and fried onions. Even the vegetarian choices were minimal. No chickpea dish, no cauliflower, no okra. No peas. A hallmark of Indian food is vegetables. But not today. I'll definitely be back. My wife isn't vegan and loved the butter chicken. But she too, wondered about the lack of vegetables.
