The food is pretty solid. Not the best Chinese, but certainly not bad. Food came out hot and fresh. The two plates we got were a little bland. We got chicken wings, potstickers, Hunan chicken, lo mein, hot & sour soup, and wonton soup. The biggest oddity is the staff behind the plastic wall, like they never came out of Covid. You walk up to the counter to order, then entire counter is taped up behind the plastic wall. I was disappointed that eating in was all served in to go packaging and had to go back several times to get things that should have been included: plastic ware, napkins, soy sauce. But they were polite each time I went back.

Horrible food dry and no meat all onions. Seen pig slop that was better. Cost ten bucks wasn't worth it.

Always hot, fresh and delicious! And the portions are big enough for leftovers the next day!

Had to be in the area for an appointment and was in need of lunch. Driving a couple of blocks up the street found Peking. In the window you will find a sign "for take out only". In serious need of lunch walked in and took a look at the menu on the wall as well as one of two paper menus on the counterDeciding to go with the lunch Shrimp & Broccoli spiced medium. Paid, told 10-15 minutes. This gives you time to look around. The buffet was closed (clearly during this time). Face masks were worn by staff A giant plastic barrier was put into place to keep the help safe from customers. So why no gloves on the four people cooking and no hand washing between cash/ cards transactions then cooking? While shrimp and broccoli were fresh.. there was mo flavor for such a simple dish? The sauce was way to thick and tasted of nothing but white pepper. The lunch specials come with whi9t or onion fried rice. I wanted white emded up with the fried rice SKIP IT was bad amd when trying to use soy sauce to jazz it up made it worse. The dish was thrown in the trash half way through. I love a good deal for lunch but when it doesn't taste good is a waste of money.

Solid. Easily best Chinese food in Statesville and among the best food in Statesville, period. Over the last few years have tried most of their expansive menu and have been happy with most everything. Some of the standout dishes are the Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Fried Dumplings, Spare Ribs, and the Pork Egg Foo Young. Service is always fast and staff are always kind and pleasant to deal with. Prices for quality/quantity are fantastic.

Absolutely the most tasteless Chinese food I've ever eaten. Who wrote these glowing reviews? I guess if I'd only ever eaten Chinese cuisine from a hospital or school cafeteria I might have been impressed. The fried rice didn't have one vegetable piece in it other than white onion. The mixed vegetables were so bland, I covered them with soy sauce just to get something to taste. I was wishing for a shaker of MSG to sprinkle over my plate! The best thing was the water chestnuts and water chestnuts taste like nothing. Good price, good portion of the blandest food ever! 100% would prefer Chinese from K&W Cafeteria.

Granted it's a hole in the wall. The atmosphere is not all that great. However the food was really good. No complaints here.I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with rice and an egg roll for about $6.25. The chicken was of excellent quality with beautiful solid white meat. The batter was perfect and it was deep fried to perfection. The rice was soft and moist. They had a 97% health rating and the place looks clean. They are obviously known for their take-out. We were the only ones eating there however there were numerous people coming in and out so you know their food is always fresh because they're constantly cooking. Which was a nice surprise seeing that we were there on a Sunday around 8 o'clock. Usually don't get much service on that day and time.It looks like they have a buffet that they probably run during the week at lunchtime. It was not open so I did not try that. Maybe on a future trip. I left there happy and full.

Love this local hometown classic. It's been here forever and a true staple of downtown Statesville. The best American Chinese food around. Can't go wrong here, their food is made to order and super delicious. My go to is their veggie egg foo young and black bean tofu. Their Covid contraption is hilarious but very effective!

I love love love this place! They give you sooooo much food for the price and it's authentic beyond compare! They care about their community and that in itself is a reason to give them a try. I had went in to do a takeout order and left my card at Sheetz, as I'm calling my husband to bring me his card, the owner so sweetly says "we made your food and you can just pay us next time you come in" I almost sobbed that was incredibly kind, something you don't see or come across often especially here in the Triad. These are the people and businesses we need to support, the ones who have your hack! What a breath of fresh air! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

The food isn't good enough for the rude service. I paid 4 dollars extra for extra beef and got the same sized portion from the last time I ordered from here. Will not be back.
