Parkway is a nice family owned restaurant that provides lots of seating & a clean environment. Staff were very helpful and nice. Looked like a place that has a lot of regulars which speaks volumes about a restaurant. Got the parkway breakfast & it was tasty. A simple biscuit, eggs, hash brown and sausage. Looking forward to returning to try their lunch!

Everyone was so friendly and I mean genuinely so! My son an I engaged in great conversations with the servers as we waited for out to-go meals. The restaurant was really clean and festive (it was Christmas season). The portions were generous! Definitely would receive five stars except, the food was just ok (infact I think it made my tummy ache) but I'm ok with that. Let me tell you why. I can tell this is a neighborhood establishment that has been around for years. The patrons that were there with us were older and this is the type of food they love cooked the way they love. If my grandmother were still alive this is the very place I would take her. It would be her favorite and I would risk the stomachache everytime just to make her happy! I would definitely go again just to continue the great conversations and maybe I'd stick with just a grilled cheese and fries, but that would be just for me and my finicky tummy

We came here on a recommendation, and probably had overly high expectations based on having been told that this is the best diner type restaurant in the area. We had a spicy chicken sub, a bacon cheese burger and a steak and cheese sub. The food was good, but not spectacular. We were disappointed that we couldn't get breakfast, apparently they stop serving it at some pin before we arrived. There were numerous tables piled with dirty dishes waiting to be cleared. The waitress seemed a bit distracted, and I guess it was because we were her last table of the day, she left just as we were paying the cashier near the exit. Maybe we just arrived at the wrong moment, but it left a less than great impression. Would we come back? Maybe, but we wouldn't go out of our way to do so.
