I was a bit skeptical due to the low rating but I love the Pancho Villas in High Point . I came in for a late lunch and immediately had a waitress followed by chips and my drink. The salsa is good, not spectacular but good. The food came out pretty quick and was fresh and hot with a generous portion. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area

The inside of the restaurant is very spacious but as equally dated. I do not recommend ordering their Tamarindo to drink. Their sweet tea is excellent though. I ordered the Juan Special (chicken, tomato, onions, peppers in a cheese sauce) over rice. The dish is so good, and very filling. I ordered extra Queso blanco to drizzle. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Even though this place has a lot of "misses", i will definitely keep going for this dish alone.

Worst! Mexican! Food! Ever!From the chips and salsa to the entrees, absolute nastiest stuff I have ever had. I have no clue how they stay in business without being a front for another business.I was so happy when they closed down but then they just reappeared across the street. Our town has several great mexican places, don't waste your time on this one. Go to Taco Bell instead, you'll be much better off.

This place used to be my favorite bc it was very good. Tonight was my first time at the new location. Things have gone severely down hill!!! The cheese dip is liquid w a few lumps of cheese. The chips and salsa are excellent but I got one chip at the bottom of the pile I had to spit out if tasted so old. The carne asada tacos were ok but I kept tasting something I didn't like. Now let's get to the good stuff Margaritas!! I first ordered the special.. $1.25 how could you go wrong? Excellent! So since I usually like the Texas Margaritas (top shelf, more alcohol) I decided I'd order one of those. Bad mistake!! I couldn't believe what color it was! Teal! I wish I would have taken a pic! It tasted weird.. no .. just No!! Terrible!! Terrible! I won't go back. The bartender/ waitress was awesome!! Very friendly! Nice, prompt... NO problems with her at all!! She's the reason it got 2 Stars.

Absolutely delicious. I had the chimichanga lunch and the Carmel churros. The first thing I always do while eating somewhere new is see how their complementary bread/chips taste. I feel it gives me a good feel as to how my over all experience will be. I can say that the chips were thin and crispy and the salsa was spicy and flavorful. It's a small place but it's clean and the atmosphere is laid back. The chimichanga was flavorful and filling and the churros were the best I have had. I definitely recommend trying this little place out.

In the past this was a great restaurant. I don't know what has recently changed but there is a great difficulty in getting orders correct. Food is greasy and margaritas are weakened. Even difficulty getting credit card to go through their machine. Weekly visits here will be curtailed for a while. A shame that service and quality have gone down.
