Had a great meal here with our friends! Really enjoyed my Caesar salad with salmon and others at the table enjoyed the wings, wrap and shrimp salad. Our server was really sweet and helpful and the ambience was warm and lively.

My husband and I found this venue back in Jan 15', needless to say we fell in love. The staff is very accommodating!Wedding Day:My bridesmaids were placed in the Bridal Suite---lots of space to move around. The guys got ready downstairs in the mens locker room. Around 11am, I ordered a small lunch for my girls: Small tea sandwiches, mimosas and fruit....There was enough food for eleven people. I only had five mimosas brought in.Unfortunately, it rained during our ceremony. In case of inclement weather your event will be moved indoors....I was so overwhelmed, I couldn't breath!! I made the foolish decision to move forward and go outside.....WORST DECISION EVER!!! I wish someone would've shook me! We finally moved inside and continued the ceremony...Everything was wonderful!!! Food:We attended a Food tasting in March 15' it was PERFECTION..There were several other couples there. My fiance is allergic to shellfish. I asked if we could substitute the crab (when we finalize our menu)..IMMEDIATLY Several people rushed to our table, First the Chef, followed by several other staff members. Now that's amazing service! Our guest loved the menu we selected!! Our Cocktail Menu:Shrimp & Cucumber with Dill Cream Cheese Cheese Steak Eggrolls w/Spicy Ketchup Buffet Dinner Menu:House Salad w/Ranch & Herb Vinaigrette Italian Herb Crusted Chicken w/Tomato, Artichoke and Kalamata Olive RagoutButternut Squash Risotto w/Peas & Asparagus Italian Roasted Mushrooms & Vegetables Beverages: We served Beer $150 worth. 2 Gallons of White Sangria, 25 Wine Bottles, one to two bottles on each table. White Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio. We also served Champagne during the toast. Here's a few tips:Have signage for your guest!! or assign someone to direct!!! Our guest have never been here, I heard several complaints about people roaming around. Lost...The people we hired only directed a small number of guest. The Bridal Suite: This is located across from the women's restroom. I would ask about adding signage so people wont barge in. This happened several times. Overall, We had a great Experience at The Palisades! Thank you to Bethany and her amazing staff for making our Wedding Magical! We will return again one day!

I recently coordinated a wedding at the Palisade's country club and it was one of the best experiences I've had with a venue. From start to finish the team at Palisade's Country Club were amazing. They went above and beyond for the bride and groom as well as every guest and vendor that was involved. I would highly recommend this establishment for a ceremony/reception event.

Our wedding was held at the Palisades Country Club at the end of September of this year. When arriving at the first tasting we realized that the food items that were brought out for us to taste were different from what was initially requested. The staff resolved the issue by allowing us to reschedule another tasting. At the second tasting, we realized we were dealing with new team of staff and were concerned that there would be issues and inconsistencies with the menu. We made sure that our notes were properly handled so that there would be no issues. We then decided on the final menu details and made sure to confirm that we wanted the package with three meats and made an emphases on the chicken and rice. We made sure to make plenty of detailed notes about specific details that we would like to see on our wedding day and left a copy with the manager to make sure that she respected and complied with our wishes for the menu. She was adamant about letting us know that she knew what we wanted. The day of the wedding was unfortunately more stressful than we had anticipated due to multiple errors related to our menu. Steak and fish were brought out, however, the chicken and rice were never brought out. We were later told that we never ordered chicken and rice and the blame was put completely on us even though management had a detailed copy of our notes and wishes. In addition to the big mistake in the menu, there were other service issues. The food was constantly running out and guests were waiting in lines for lengthy time periods. After explaining this to the director, the blame was put on us again as he said that people were coming back for seconds and thirds when the reason that some people came back was because they never got food in the first place because they were so short on food. We also noticed that there was quite a shortage of coffee cups and guests were told to use very large styrofoam cups for coffee and tea. After inquiring from the staff about the issue, were were told that they ran out of cups and they don't have any more. Two cups were then brought out and we were, to our disbelief, asked if this would be enough to cover the rest of the people. When a guest mentioned that there was no more hot water for tea, instead of refilling the hot water pitcher, a staff member brought out a large styrofoam cup of hot tap water. When a meeting was held to talk about these issues after the wedding, we were rudely dismissed and told that WE were the ones who made the mistakes and that they will not be doing anything to compensate for the discrepancies in the menu or the bad service. Even though we were told that the 250 people would be accommodated with the highest standards of service, this was surely not the case at our wedding. Guests were left with memories of an improperly air conditioned reception hall where their meals consisted of burned potatoes, raw potatoes, frozen steak, and overly large styrofoam cups of coffee, and lengthy waiting lines because the food was not ready. In conclusion, we are still trying to resolve these issues and sadly cannot say that we had a good experience with the Palisades. To say it was unpleasant is an understatement. We truly hope that you will do much further research and make sure you have everything signed with a signature before you trust what is said about the menu and service.
