Palermo's

We have just recently moved to Albemarle and had eaten here before and liked it. So we went back last night. I love the dish with the chicken and eggplant parm. It's so yummy! I'm not much for red sauces however, I love theirs! It has a great flavor. I was not a fan of the salad dressings ‍ I can get past that though. The inside is dark and needs a face lift, but it's the great food. We are looking forward to getting a pizza next!

A fantastic local family place with great food and huge portions. We have been there at different times and days and the service is always amazing. We are working our way through the menu every thing is A Plus. They have a great selection, we will see you there.

We visited Palermo's for the first time last night. It wasn't bad! We enjoyed our meal. The interior is a little dark but it appeared clean. They had a 96.5 sanitation grade posted behind the register. I was worried because, like everywhere else, they seemed to understaffed. Our server also had to handle take outs, the phone, and bus her own tables in addition to waiting on the entire dining room. She was doing a great job of pulling it off. Our food came out correctly. Everything came out in a timely manner. We never ran out of drinks. She was nice and helpful. We ordered a 10 inch pizza to split. It was enough food for us both. The pizza was good. The crust was good. I also ordered a side salad. It was average but the Bleu Cheese dressing was wonderful! I was glad we stopped in for supper. I want to go back and try a pasta dish now!

Easy 5 stars for incredible food prep and a server who was alone and never missed a beat! Very impressed!

Really liked Palermo's. Service was excellent. We had the parm chicken sandwich and the Philly cheesesteak. Both were very good. Fries were great too. Definitely worth frequenting.

Best Pizza pie south of Chicago! Treat yourself to the ultimate supreme pizza east of Italy! It's so good, you will believe the stairway to heaven is made of Mozzarella, tomatoes and love. After taking the first bite into a steaming hot carb fueled bliss you will realize the very meaning of life itself is revealed through an alchemy of tomato basil, oregano, mushrooms, pepperoni, and Cheese! I just love cheese, really I do. Finding this pizza in Albemarle, North Carolina has literally been the most important discovery of my meaningless existence. And when you order that life altering supreme pizza of endless bliss, tell them Chris sent you. They have absolutely no idea who I am ;)

We had an Italian Stromboli and it was awesome! Simple ingredients, salami, ham, mozzarella, and sauté onions all in a delicious dough. And the marinera sauce was thick. And the portions are huge. One plate enough for two people. The waitress was very good at making sure we were satisfied and attended to. The only draw back is the lack of attention needed to the front of the restaurant. The owners need to make it more welcoming and clean. Otherwise Palermo's has the potential of being a perfect place to eat. I am going back even if its just for takeout.

Came a few days ago, waitress was sweet but the food was subpar. Calamari is way too breaded, and salads were super wet. Not too pleased when i saw a 93 sanitation rating

Good food but honestly not honestly not worth supporting. The owner treats his workers and wife horribly and makes them do more work than they're paid for or make in tips. He also sexualizes them and only hires waitresses he finds physically attractive. (Coming from a past employee)

Great food, large cheese burgers and plenty fries. Great Baked ziti too. Everyone should try the Grilled chicken salad, good portion of grilled chicken on every salad.
