Went out for girls night. It was a cozy establishment. Nice atmosphere , the food and drinks were great and the service was busy but the waitress staff was courteous and respectful. I would recommend and return again.

We were in Charew and wanted to get a bite and a drink. The motel clerk recommended Oslo's as being the place that could provide both.Oslo's sits on the side of the highway that runs through this part of South Carolina. It has a pretty big parking are on either side, and there was a fair number of cars. Wednesday night is their pool tournament night. Plus, from the look of the crowd, I'm thinking it might be the locals favorite hangout. The place was packed. Families to seniors, there was a good cross section of the local poplace having dinner or enjoying a beer. The staff were pleasant and friendly, but a bit taken back that 3 Californians had found their way into this part of the world. They have a full bar, and we put it to use. The chicken wings were big and nicely done, crisp and crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy inside. We also enjoyed an order of the fried onions. For dinner, I had the hamburger steak smothered ing mushrooms, onions and green peppers with a baked potato. My wife had the broiled Cajun shrimp plate with very good garlic mashed potatoes. Our pal had the Mexican burger...it had plenty of jalapeño rings, but they forgot the tomato and lettuce...! But he still enjoyed it.All in all, I would say Oslo's offers an excellent slice of Americana. The menu is solid, the beers cold and they have 2 pool tables.

The hubs and I wanted to go somwhere different so we came to Oslo's. It was clean and people were friendly. Menu choices were decent. I ordered a cheeseburgeer with "surprise fries". The fries were great. The cheeseburger was very salty. I alo ordered a mixed drink-a screwdriver. It was not good at all. I took one sip and sent it back. I should have just drank it though becaus they charged me for it. Most likely will not return.

Oslo's is one of the only bars in Cheraw, but I was pleasantly surprised with it. It was the night before a friend's wedding (Cheraw is his wife's hometown), & six of us sat around an island-like counter in the middle of the bar drinking Yuenglings & reminiscing. The music was mostly hip hop & club hits, but the volume was kept to a comfortable level. Lots of variety in terms of available bottled beer, & a crowd that was diverse & friendly, even if they were all chain smoking. I only spotted one camo hat with a fish hook on the rim, unfortunately. One point: I'm not sure why this place is called Oslo's. There was absolutely nothing even vaguely Norwegian-seeming about it.

Small bar atmosphere. They have good food. The prices are very reasonable and they have a daily special. They have pool tables, tournaments, and karaoke some nights. Very cool place.

We ordered our carry out dinner last night and it was awesome. I ordered the Smothered Hamburger Steak, baked potato, and salad. Pam ordered the Surprise Fries and the entire dinner was awesome. During this time of carry out food I highly suggest you order from Oslo's. Support local restaurants not chains.
