Osaka Grill

It was date night for us and we figured it would be nice to enjoy the Greer Downtown on that Friday night and knew we felt like sushi. After looking online for sushi in the area, Osaka Grill popped up. Though it's a hole-in-the-wall sort of place, that's a good sign because those tend to be the gems.Not fancy, but comfortable and casual atmosphere. There are tables and booths. It was busy on this Friday night (our first time ever here). We wanted a booth instead of the tables that were close to several other tables filled with customers and they allowed us to wait by the bar/counter where we watched and also looked at the menu to decide what sushi we wanted. Once seated, we were able to order quickly getting the Happy Family, Atlanta Roll, and Alaska Roll, miso soup. They were all good! What was even more welcoming was the price - definitely a great value, which probably explained why there were plenty of carryouts/pickups.Good food, good service, and amazing price!

We ordered the dinner special with ribeye steak and shrimp. It was perfectly cooked and a big portion for too, only $14.99. Salad with a ginger dressing was a wonderful way to start and included with our meal. Wine for just $5 a glass. Wonderful service with a simple and elegant atmosphere. Tasty and affordable which is tough to find in this market. Highly recommend!

For starters the prices on menu aren't the same as when you check out. They have a sign when you check out that says the menu is a 4% discount if you pay cash (should probably have that on the actual menu so people know) but anyways the portion is the smallest amount I've ever recieved when getting Japanese food! The plate and kids bowl had the exact amount of food. And the taste omg there was no taste until I added the white sauce! The food wasn't even hot! It was warm but more on the cooler side of warm! I hate I couldn't find a hibachi place in Greer that Cooks in front of you but I went here based on reviews and I guess the people here have no taste buds or something cause ik y'all lying about this food. Or maybe everyone just goes here for sushi and not hibachi or teriyaki! Our first and last visit. The service was good though

usually this place bomb . however, last night my takeout was incorrect. i ordered some california roll and philadelphia and i got none of those. seems like i received someone else's sushi order. i also ordered miso soup and onion soup and both were very salty. this is the first i have had a bad experience here so maybe osaka was just having a bad day ‍

Delicious juicy flavorful. Great service. Quick and affordable. Shrimp, chicken, steak...all done to perfection. Scrumptious veggies. Good soups and appetizers. Does not disappoint.

Besides that they didn't have gluten free soy sauce this place is awesome! Really low prices for some absolutely fantastic rolls. The staff was very friendly and you can absolutely tell it's a family business. If you are wanting to grab a big sushi meal for great prices I would absolutely always choose here. Their prices are damn near as good as if not better than any Earthfare sushi, plus unlike most sushi restaurants they have several specialty rolls that are gluten free. Specialty rolls that were under $10 each! Glorious!

Drove from Inman, SC, and it was well worth the drive! Ordered Osaka Special Hibachi. Cooked to perfection. Nice combination of chicken, ribeye steak, and shrimp. The restaurant has a wonderful selection of sushi rolls. We had the Ebiten Roll (Tempura shrimp, avocado, cucumber and mango), Yummy! Also had the Spicy Yellowtail roll, and the California roll. Best Sushi we have had in SC! All of our meal selections excellent quality take-out. We will be back for another meal soon.

Our family loves the food and the couple making the sushi. They are very friendly. Plus we love to watch Bob Ross on one of the TVs.

We will be moving to Greer in the future and after meeting with the builder decided to expand our Greer food opportunities. We tried 5 rolls and all were quite tasty. The rice had good texture, not over cooked, but as with so many sushi places would benefit from incorporating more su in the cooling process. A proper rice would have more sheen and a mild vinegar flavor. All-in-all, quite good.
