Wow, we need more great food in Mt. Holly and they delivered! Service is great and friendly. Highlights: Orange chicken but make it spicy, super delicious and not overly sweet. Pad Thai is "wet" (this is a good thing) and the tofu in it was crispy. The Lao sausage is not to be missed and the spring rolls were piping hot and crispy. This will be in our rotation for sure!

119 is a solid addition to this area of Charlotte, very much needed. I enjoy their sushi and also the Tom Yum. Their noodle dishes are decent as well as their curries. In terms of Asian/Thai food - it's the best option for locals. They have seating and it's very casual so if you want to dine I you should be comfy. They are also available on the delivery services so you can order in. Overall, I rate the food about an 8/10 and I'll very likely return to 119.

I dined in and also had to-go orders! The Thai dishes are delicious and the sushi as well but the rice fish ratio is an off - way too much rice! Staff is always very pleasant and friendly. I think the decoration can be improved. Love the pictures of the local artists though! Support the locals!

What a great addition to Mt. Holly. Went in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I need to come back for dinner to try some of their speciality rolls! They have a lunch special - two rolls and a spring roll. So it's a set menu, but there's a decent amount of "lunch sushi" (you know the simple/staple rolls). I went with the spicy tuna and crunchy roll. Both rolls were tasty, but I think I liked the crunchy better. That being the spicy tuna had the dollop of Sriracha on top, and I prefer when it's blended in with the tuna and has the spicy Mayo on top. The crunchy roll had a lot of the crunchies in it, but again, I feel like it's expected for the lunch scene. My server was super sweet and attentive (and was also doing hostess roles) and the restaurant itself was clean and I liked the bar/sushi bar area. They also have non-sushi items, and they looked good as well. I liked how they had different spice levels too. I hope this restaurant does well, and I definitely want to come back and try other rolls!

This has to be one of my favorite new spots in MT Holly as we've been wanting something new here for a while. I LOVE SUSHI, and this spot has an abundance of options to choose from. The lunch specials are the best deals here and the service is very nice and courteous and the orders never took long to come out. Whenever you get a chance and are close to Mt Holly come checkout this place. You be be disappointed.

Food is good. Love to order Thai hot level. I prefer to order online and pickup. The inside is very intimate. Space is small and tables are very close. Great for date night. Service can be extremely slow on the weekends.

Stopped in at One19 North Main after doing some shopping around Charlotte. I don't know if it's a hidden gem, or everyone knows about this place, but everyone has to try them out. We ordered quite a bit and ended up taking some food home because it was a lot of food. Highlight was the tom yum soup. It was spicy and sour like it should be, and what's great is you can change the spice level to your liking. Wife had the curry and she said it was great, the pad thai was great, too, according to one of my son. Other son had the teriyaki steak and steak was a little over cook and not sure what cut was used, but he said it was a little tough. We also had the sampler appetizer and it was really good. The miso soup was delicious, real tofu was used and broth was rich and creamy. The crispy duck plate was wonderful, it was crispy and rich in flavor, the sauce was little sweet, little salty, little umami. I also had the chirashi bowl, which I didn't even get to, took it home and had it the next day. The only downside to the whole food experience was the finding of a piece of plastic wrapping in the chirashi bowl the next day. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place and will go back and try again.

customer service is atrocious (I'm sure the staff wont know what that word means) and the takeout order and order details are habitually wrong every time. when you approach them on these shortcomings, they get an attitude and defensive.

I don't have a lot of experience with Thai cuisine, so perhaps I'm not the best person to judge it, but I'll say this. Either I don't like Thai food in general, or this is not the place to get it lol. That said, their other food is good and I wish there were more non-Thai options. The miso soup is solid, the spring rolls are very good, and the sushi has always been really good as well (though the rolls are thicker than I'd prefer, one piece is a real mouthful). The pot stickers don't seem to be of the highest quality; they have those jello filler noodles in them like an eggroll from Panda Express. On our last trip we tried the Tonya's Orange Chicken, which was absolutely delicious. It had an interesting creaminess to it that I didn't expect, and the heat level was perfect. Best thing I've gotten here yet. It could stand to be a little more affordable though. It's easy for two people to get the bill up to $50-$70 dollars if you're trying different things. Last point, and I'm knocking a whole star off for this: they don't take Apple Pay. Their machines are equipped to take it, but as a matter of policy they refuse to accept it. They said this was because of some scam someone pulled with a chargeback, but I don't really know and don't really care about that. Millions of other restaurants make it work without issue. I'm sure they could figure it out if they wanted to rather than refusing to let people pay in what's inarguably the most convenient way possible.
