Do not take the look of this place as a run down sports bar fool you. This food was very very good and the staff was very quick and friendly. A couple of weird things I saw that kept it from being 5/5 stars but otherwise it was a great experience. The menu is a good variety even though at first sight it might seem heavy on a Mexican dish place but all the food was great. Fried appetizers were not greasy, burger was juicy and perfectly cooked. Chicken Alfredo was actually Amazing and had a bit of a smoky flavor. The value was also incredible. The bread they give you that's complimentary was really good. I suspected it might be their garlic knots which I'll say it's nothing like a garlic knot but it was great. Texture like a zeppoli but taste was like a garlic knot. Very good

It was a typical sports bar with jukebox and a variety of shot options. Only Ultra and Land Shark on tap upstairs. The nachos are small for the price, mostly "salad" in the center, a ring of chips with toppings and came out cool somehow. Service was excellent though.

The family and I decided try this new spot based on facebook suggestions. Restaurant sits right on Sunset Ave in downtown Asheboro beside Taco Loco. This restaurant has been open since December. Upon walking in you are greeted by their nice staff. The smell makes me think of an old building smell and I didn't really smell any food. Carpet is worn and could use some replacing, or better yet just make concrete like the entrance. (In my honest opinion carpet doesn't belong in restaurants!)Decor/seating could use a little updating.Menu has a little bit of everything from subs, and pasta, to Honduran specialties like empanadas and more. I liked the selection. We received complimentary garlic knots with marinara that were delicious! I decided to try the baked spaghetti with meat sauce. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't outstanding either. The noodles weren't drained so my dish was drowning in liquid. My husband and daughter decided to try the cheese burgers with fries. We were disappointed to find the burgers were thin frozen patties. My daughter couldn't eat hers because it was thin and chewy and no flavor. The fries are frozen too and not cooked the greatest. My husband bought the Texas burger which came with barbecue sauce and bacon. His was a thin patty as well. The sauce is what gave it flavor. We really wanted to like this spot. We just weren't blown away. Staff was great, food not so much. Might come back and try Honduran food just to see if that is better.

Very Delicious food and has a variety of choices. Prices are reasonable and I've had good costumers service every time I eat at OG's.

The food was great, large portions. Service was exceptional. If you are a bourbon, whiskey, or tequila fan. This is the place to go in Asheboro for high end, hard to find Liquor & Spirits at reasonable prices per shot. The only complaint is if you sit at the section right behind the bar there isn't a lot of room. And when you have a bunch of 30 year olds at the bar vaping and trying to re-live their glory days and see how much they can drink in 30 minutes. It gets a bit much when they are moving back and forth across the length of the bar. Multiple times their bodies. Arms, Legs, Butt, hit our table, or us jolting the already small table and space we had. Not the fault of the restaurant. Even the waiters were struggling to get past them to deliver food/drinks.

Truly an awful place to go. Once waitress finally got off phone to take order it came out and wings were some of the worse I've ever eaten. Carrots and celery had to be about 3-4 weeks old - wilted and slimy. Any place that serves blue cheese in packets should never bill themselves as a sports bar. I paid $15 for 1 nasty wing. Avoid this place unless you want tj leave hungrier than when you came in. If you could give negative stars they would get that. Not even worth 1.

In December my wife and I dined here for dinner. We ordered burgers and fries.... AWESOME. In January we went again with another couple. The food on both occasions were very good. I love chicken alfredo and ordered on my 2nd visit... this sauce I could tell was from scratch and plenty of "seasoned" chicken. My wife and another with us both ordered a philly-cheese-steak and they raved over it. Nothing to complain about at OG's.
