We stopped in here in early December on a whim. The staff was so friendly and helpful! We had tried a flight and ended up buying a bottle of the rye it was our favorite. We also got an old fashioned. We hung out in the little loft upstairs but if it was warmer we would have gone outside where there was plenty of seating. The place was cozy and we will stop by again when we come back to town.

It was a cute little distillery. The bourbon was tasty. The pricing was a bit higher for some of the same bottles ($20 higher) you can get at the ABC store so was disappointed about that. They had some great merch there for such a small distillery. There was a food truck and they had outstanding customer service, however, the food was just ok for the price. It was convenient but not our favorite.

In town for a few days. One of.my friends is a big whiskey bourbon fan. So I wanted to do something fun for them. When you walk it's like a light shines upon all things whiskey and bourbon. Very cute and quaint. Ashley conducted the tasting for us. They had the flights and I had a lemon drop. We then sat in the heated tent to finish our drinks. There was a food truck as well. City cookout I believe was the name, we orders chicken sandwiches and then wings. Everything was good. They were having a live band that night. They also have a cigar lounge. I forgot to get picks of drink and my friend's flights. Maybe next time. But there will be a next time for a visit. Any whiskey and bourbon drinkers and lovers make sure to stop by. Thank me later......

My friend and I decided to host our book club here. We didn't call ahead so we failed to realize the indoor space was booked, however we knew there was plenty of outdoor space to accommodate us. I cannot stress how amazing the service was. When I walked in, I let the bartender know we were hosting a group and he directed any newcomers towards our area. He was also very helpful in helping me navigate the drink selection and shared with me that they had an onsite food truck that was open. Unfortunately the weather was pretty toasty, but they had a tent space that was unoccupied with two small fans, so we moved our group in there. Towards the end of our visit, I had a chance to chat with the event manager who gave me her info in case we wanted to try and reserve the indoor space for future events. Overall, I could tell that they passionately cared that all their guests have a great experience. When you walk in, it is clear that they want to make everyone feel welcome and included.

I have had a good time the two times I have been there. This is a nice place with a nice outdoor sitting area. They have a resident food truck that prepares wraps (great wraps). Regarding the drinks, the old fashioned was really good. We also ordered a Mojito which was good but not what I was expecting for a Mojito. The bar tenders were very helpful and accommodating. You need to visit this place and have a couple of drinks.

Have been waiting to try it here for months! It's a small place inside and hard to get i to the parking lot from 51 but so cute and employees were friendly! We did a tasting, which was free and he was great about explaining the process and all about oak lore! They serve cocktails for purchase, slushies- with or without liquor and some snacks like local pimiento cheese. They also have beer and cider and seltzer for sale i a cooler in cans! Great spot, just hard to park and get into!! Also, seating outdoors is plentiful and a few tables in the loft upstairs inside :)

I got the whiskey flight (2 bourbons & a rye). She got the gin & tonic with a few snacks. For me all 3 were nice but I favored the amber wheat bourbon and the rye, which is 70% rye but you wouldn't know it. The wife enjoyed the citrus in the gin. Purchased a bottle each of the bourbon and rye, which I found to be a bit pricey for a 4 year old whiskey. That said, we will be back.

We recently moved to the area and were excited to try a distillery that was voted one of the best in Charlotte, but sadly it fell way short. Their bourbon is WAY overpriced for the quality. $70 a bottle?? I have had better bourbons for $30, $40, even $50 a bottle. We did a flight, which was not worth it. They are $10 for each 1 oz pour. We had four 1 oz pours. We drank all of one and just a sip out of the other three and had to pay $40. Waste of money! Ambiance? They tried with the fire pit out back and some seats, but you're still looking right onto 51. Not ideal. Maybe plant more trees around to make it a little more private? Glad we tried it, so we know not to take friends and family here when they visit!
