Northern Regional Recreation Center

We came for the fall festival. Before I singed up for this an employee said that the $5 per person fee would include a icee and food. I purchased the tickets with that understanding. I arrived today only to be told that was not the case, and that we would have to pay for the food... I hate being told wrong information. Within 30 minutes my son had done everything there was to do. I have been to free events that had way more to do. My son had a decent time but was ready to go.

This place is amazing! It's great for all the kids, and is only a short walk away from my house. My brother played basketball here, and it's also a great place to work out and swim! Especially with the water slide and the cool art on the building! I don't know why one of the comments is a 1 star when it is not this buildings fault at all

This rec center is just a mile from our new house and it is awesome, especially for our little one. They have an entire indoor splash pad and kid pool. They have a waterslide which actually wraps around in the silo outside of the building. It's a really awesome area and we have taken our daughter there a few times.They also have a full lap pool, basketball courts and fitness classes as well. I've seen a few Pickleball nets even set up in the basketball court area. There is an indoor track and a kids watch area, so parents can workout while their kiddos play, we plan to utilize this benefit soon! They seem to have some community events and overall it is a beautiful place... inside and out. So with all that said, for me I really want to use the gym equipment. That side is a bit limited. They have a dozen treadmills and a handful of other cardio equipment. They have some nice free weight areas, but I try to get there early so I don't have to wait. I am coming from Planet Fitness which has multiples of the weight machines and treadmills, so maybe my expectations are a bit off since this is more of a community center. The staff is always so polite and have been very helpful when I have had questions. I really like it here but let's hope that the New Year doesn't bring a ton of new faces... since the workout machines are a bit limited.

Lol. Well, the nuisance of the entitled people at this place won't stop. When they want to use the machine you're on they either ask you when you're done or are you done or they stand in front of you about 3 feet away or they get someone that works there to run you off. Lol. My membership didn't make it a month. Canceled today.
