The ambiance first of all is fantastic! We sat at the bar because it was an hour and half wait but bar is available if you can get and we were able to snag two chairs together! This location is awesome! We were well taken care of and staff very helpful and knowledgeable! Food delicious and fresh ingredients! One of my favorite restaurants now!

Great service, delicious food. Nice atmosphere, very lively. We were a party of four so could talk but it was a bit loud, not sure I'd go there with a bigger group if I wanted to talk.I had the scallops which were amazing! Branzino and short ribs were big hits too!

We came here for a team lunch. Unfortunately the service was slow we waited for almost 15 minutes for our server to take drinks and offer water. We had to ask the host to find our server. Thankfully my coworker ordered a soup at the time of ordering her drink and it came out in literally a nano second. But then we waited another 15 minutes for our appetizer -- the truffle garlic bread. I didnt taste much of the truffle oil and not a fan of their cream topping. Without the cream, the bread was fire. I ordered the blanco short rib lasagna. Short rib was over salted and the lasagna sauce had no flavor. It was unfortunately inedible because of the salt amount.

Service: 2/5Atmosphere: 5/5Food: 5/5We came in for lunch on a Thursday with a group of 6. The food was all amazing! We started with the truffle bread (delicious if you like truffle), and everyone ordered different entrees. I ordered the seasonal vegetable salad with salmon, and it was perfect. The salmon was a generous portion and perfectly cooked, and everything in the salad complemented each other beautifully. Lots of roasted veggies and loved the chopped dates! Our only qualm was the service. The service was lovely when we saw them, but it took over 10 minutes after being sat to even see a server despite it being empty on a Thursday afternoon. I'd definitely recommend- just make sure you block out enough time if you're scheduling a work lunch or quick dinner!

Thought this was a solid spot for being a chain. The atmosphere was very inviting and vibrant, but not super loud and even our large party of 8 could have a conversation without having to yell. Service was very friendly and accommodating for some food allergies (the manager even came out to be sure). We had some apps like the bruschetta, beef carpaccio, and burrata. Everything was flavorful and had a good presentation, nothing over the top or missing the mark. For my main I went with the Lasagna Bianca al Forno, it was good but I wish I had gotten something with more elements as the dish itself ate very one note. Don't get me wrong, it was a tasty note, but after a few bites I wished I had gotten another dish for my first time. Or maybe I just don't like a white sauce lasagna as much as I do a red sauce. Either way, it was a good dish but maybe not one of their better ones. The rest of the table enjoyed their dishes, the person to my right got the Squid Ink Tonnarelli which looked really good.Good spot for some comfort Italian with friends or family.

We had a great time here! Service was great. Food was delicious and though it was a little loud inside, it was nice for a date night. We started out with the charcuterie board, which was kinda underwhelming. The prosciutto was good but only one meat, one cheese and then some pickled vegetables that were unbearable, and a ton of almonds, they were good but just too much. The bread and meatballs were good, nothing to write home about, but good. I had the salmon with pesto risotto as my entree. It was good, the broccolini was bomb. Then I had the olive oil cake for dessert, also bomb. We don't recommend the squid ink noodles, not great. Not sure this will be a go-to spot for us but it's nice having more variety in Ballantyne.

North Italia is notorious for having service that exceeds expectations and food that is more than great. Quality shines through every move they make. Aside from whoever burnt the dogshit out of the bread for my sandwich and decided "fuck it its to go food anyway". The food was great. Lots of people on the weekend, get a reservation. They are definitely worth a visit if you dont want to go to the one in downtown. They have high tops , booths, A bar, your typical americanized food place. With the exception that it truly is exceptional. I hipe the other sister companies on the block can hold candle light because im trying them next.

Our service here was great and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed their grilled bread and the strozzapreti pasta - I was so pleasantly surprised by the truffle oil on the pasta the ambiance was beautiful as well, loved the decor and low lighting

We love North Italia, even though it's a chain. The staff at this location were great! Shanika gets a special shoutout!Meatballs are a solid app choice and the zucca chips pair well with it! We use the extra meatball sauce for them. The couple things that stuck out was the set up of the bar for the outside area. Placement of the TVs were odd and they have a huge liquor display right in front of a few chairs making it difficult for bar staff and patrons to utilize that area.

North Italia is everything you would expect out of a national Italian restaurant chain. I found it to be very overpriced for the portion size and mediocre quality. We tried several menu items and weren't blown away by any of it. The best thing I had were the arancini balls dipped in a pesto aioli. If I go back, I would order those again. The parmesan rigatoni that comes with chicken parmesan was very dry like the noodles had completely sucked up all the sauce. The chicken itself was crispy but I just kept wanting more flavor. The location is nice, right in the heart of the new Ballantyne Bowl. If you're in the area, I would go here for small plates & wine or a cocktail. There are much better and more authentic Italian restaurants in Charlotte for dinner.
