Tonight was our first time trying Nomad Plovhouse, and we will definitely go back. It was delicious! We tried a variety of items. All of them were good, but to me the stand outs were the beef plov and the beef and potato dumplings! It felt like a pretty healthy meal with nourishing ingredients. The beef plov can be customized with toppings- we got green onions, cilantro, pomegranate, and chickpeas. The rice had a nice but mild flavor, and it goes so well with the beef which is very flavorful and so tender! The toppings were great. I enjoyed this dish because it has a nice variety of textures (the burst of pomegranate!), and it is savory, sweet, umami, and salty all at once! It surprised me a little too- the carrots are cooked to be almost creamy and make the dish sweeter than I thought it would be. The dumplings were also delicious! They are different from a pierogi in texture (the fillings are chunkier and the wrapper is more Asian than European- thin and noodle based rather than doughier). We enjoyed the chicken plov too, but all agreed that the bold flavors of the beef were our preference! All in all it was great comfort food, which blended Mediterranean/mideastern/Asian flavors in a unique way! (And bonus, I think it is very kid-friendly flavors and components.)It's a concept called a ghost kitchen where you order online and pick up from a space like Amazon lockers that a bunch of restaurants share. This part was a little odd and ordering online was a little tricky (likely a me and technology problem), but we were able to call and it all worked out fine. The food traveled really well and is a excellent choice for takeout! Yum!

Only today, I learned about Plov, the national dish of Uzbekistan. So... I went in search and found the Nomad Plovhouse. Currently, they are part of Southend Eats, so it's all take-out. But don't let that hold you back! This food is good! I tried the beef Plov. In a word... excellent!! The flavors encountered were impressive! I completely understand why it's so popular in Uzbekistan!! Don't forget the dumplings! They're very good and a perfect accompaniment, as was the Chickpea salad! Oh, and I didn't have to wait long for my order to be completed. Excellent service as well! This was my first time trying Plov AND Nomad Plovhouse, but it will most definitely not be my last!

Delicious and different. Very flavorful. We shared beef plov and chicken plov (add the pomegranate and raisins-nice addition to the chicken plov!). We also had the beef and potato manti. We loved everything and will order again. Thank you to the other reviewer who talked about the difficult parking situation. We ordered via UberEats. We live over 20 min away and the food arrived warm.

I've ordered in from here twice now, and it's delicious! The manti dumplings are insanely good (especially with the Nomad white sauce/sour cream) and the rice is super flavorful, especially when mixed with the side salads like the cucumber and radish. I ordered the beef plov with pomegranates, chickpeas and garlic and also the chicken plov plain and I'm pretty sure it'd be good with any combination. I'd never heard of plov before I saw this place on DoorDash and checked out their Instagram, but apparently it's the national dish of Uzbekistan. So now I feel smarter, too.

Never again. This place gave "plov" a very bad reputation. This was a flavorless meal and tased nothing like authentic plov. The dumplings had no flavor either. Also the fact that you just come in and pick up your food from a locker was very impersonal, there was no human interaction whatsoever.

Food was great, friendly staff and came in a good time. Great to see more unique foods in Charlotte from different countries and this one didn't disappoint. I've had plov in Uzbekistan before and I can say for sure that this was authentic. Rice was cooked perfectly and the carrots were too. No complaints, keep it up.
