Nikki Japanese Restaurant

Totally authentic Japanese Restaurant. It is unassuming. The service is great. The food is even better! Even my husband, who has the palate of a TODDLER, tried and ate everything! My friend who grew up in Japan introduced us to this spot.

The owner and staff are very friendly, flexible, and take good care of their customers' needs. They offer a good variety of food, their food is delicious, fresh, and the right temperature and comes out fairly quickly. The owners take good pride in their restaurant and are very involved in the restaurant.

Great hibachi lo mein and amazing fried rice. The wontons were a little sub par but the entree that I got of steak lo mein with veggies was amazing. My table also got some veggie rolls which were also sub par. I do recommend eating here. The reason I rated it a 4 is because the service was a little slow but overall okay. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty good not anything over the top but not bad either.

First this is a 4 because I couldn't give it a 3 1/2 and it's definitely above 3. The decor is dated and worn out. Even though there didn't seem to have any Japanese or Asian working there when was there which is around 5pm, the service was very Japanese. Smile and a seemly real desire to make my stay as pleasurable as possible. I was the only one there so it may be different on a busier service. I ordered spring rolls which were excellent. Some of the best I've ever had and I've eaten it in China town several times. There was a lot of drink choices but the wasn't why I came. For the main dish I ordered the Hibachi Chicken which great flavor but the chicken was dry and had some grizzle. Even though I'm not from here I was pleased to see local employees doing a pretty good job at Japanese for a very reasonable price.

Under my understanding this is restaurant is under new management. I ate here about 5 years ago and it was okay but still not the best. I came here today and it was AWFUL!! That's an understatement. I got the shrimp and steak combination, the meat was okay, but the rice had been over cooked. The prices were outrageous for two of us, it was $30. Normally that wouldn't be that bad of a price but for the amount and quality I wouldn't have paid $10.

I was fairly impressed with my visit. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful and the service and staff was kind and fast, but the food is what really impressed me it was delicious and hot and will bring me back for sure. But the reason for my 4 star is that when I went to order dessert they were completely out of everything IDK if they just didn't make any or other enough but either way I still would have liked some.

Great Japanese option in this small town area. The food is always fresh and served up to order. Friendly staff.

Quality Japanese food at affordable prices. I love the teriyaki steak or chicken. Nice, quiet restaurant that is good for couples or families.

This is my all time favorite restaurant. Always has been. Food is amazing, service is great! They are under new management and have added some new items to the menu and they are not disappointing!! The chicken egg rolls are amazing!!!
