Nice place!Dont be confused! This place is connected to Holy Joe's Meats and the grocery. You order your food and pay afterwards if you're dining in. I tried the chai tea. It was unsweetened and strong like coffee. Naan is a la carte and doesn't come with anything. I ordered garlic naan and veggie biryani. I asked for small naan and was charged for medium. Food came out hot. Will come back to explore the market and meat market

Any city I go to, I eat at the local Indian restaurants and order biryani for sure. I tried numerous restaurants in several cities over the last 10 years. But the mutton dum biryani from this restaurant happens to be hands down, the best one I have tasted outside of Hyderabad, India. Coupled with mirchi ka salan that gives you the authentic notes of what only few handpicked chefs in hyderabad could achieve. The taste of the biryani is consistent (I ordered same dish over 10 times now). It is not too spicy, which is good because it does not dominate the inherent flavor of the biryani. The mutton is cooked so well, that the pieces separate out even with gentle pressure. This is one dish that can truly take you back in time (and place). My review is for mutton biryani in specific. Other items are good to great but this item is truly exceptional.Other items we order frequently: mirchi bajji, kebab platter, chicken 65, chicken biryani, goat sukka, kubani ka meeta, double ka meeta.

A great little kitchen in a butcher shoppe. Great value for the price, huge portions and authentic food. A little greasy and salty our tastes but not off-putting in any way. Hours are a little non-traditional so plan accordingly. Delightful staff and kind service.

What a delightful surprise tucked away in a hidden strip mall in university city. After trying 5 types of kabab, it's the best in the area. Primarily a take out spot attached to a good little Indian grocery. Note they prep lunch when ordered so it's slow. Give 25 mins for prep so if you're in a hurry call it in. Will bring the whole fam damily to try soon.

It has been my experience that great ethnic food can be found in unpretentious establishments connected to ethnic grocery stores. Nawabs Kebabs is my latest discovery. The vegetarian eggplant curry is very tasty. My meat eating companion liked his chicken tikka masala. The vegetable Biryani is a little spicy and the portion is huge. If you are tired of getting mediocre Indian food on a typical buffet like me, come here for some quality Indian food.

Juiciest chicken kabab I have ever had in my life, HANDS DOWN, NO EXAGGERATION. I came here on a whim and honestly just wanted a proper cup of chai, but something told me to order something small (despite having dinner maybe 2 hours earlier, heh). Got 1 order (2-pc) of chicken kabab, 1 butter naan and a cup of tea. Took about 10-15 minutes for my food to be ready, which was a good sign since it was being made fresh. The kabab was SO tender, flavorful and JUICY, with the perfect amount of kick to it. Butter naan was amazingly soft and fluffy with none of those dry crusty spots that we all hate. Chai was DELICIOUSLY creamy. Owner is very friendly, great to chat with while waiting for your mouth-watering food. I will be back, likely tomorrow.

I had the Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Kabab and Garlic Naan. Everything was very tasty and the spices were just right! The portions are enough for lunch tomorrow and maybe more!! I'll definitely be back!

Really tasty food! We loved everything from the desi menu the only thing we would not order again was the chilli chicken as it seems Chinese food is not their forte anyway. The chana and aloo palak were so delicious and I loved that they were not dripping with oil just very well made. We also had the mixed grill which I cannot recommend enough as you get to customize the type of skewer and everything was super yummy. The mutton biryani was also delicious.

Had goat curry and though the flavor was good...it was NOT fresh. It tasted refrigerated like they took it out of the freezer and it was freezer burned yet they microwaved it anyway. Terrible. Very disappointing to pay for freezer burned food. Please serve fresh food!
