This place is brand new... not open a month yet when I ate here, so keep that in mind. This would have been three stars otherwise. We came in for the prix fixe menu on NYE for dinner and had made reservations on Open Table for 2. When we arrived, the restaurant was 70% empty with a ton of open tables. We were seated right next to another table in a large booth area with 2 tables. I could have poked the person next to me in the eye with my elbow bent... and we all actually were talking about how awkward it was that they sat us so close to someone else. The manager noticed and she moved us, which made both of the tables happy. Once we sat at the other table, we had a great server who was very nice and attentive. We ordered drinks, and the courses started. It was actually the opposite of how others reviewed it here - we had drinks, three courses, dessert, and were out of there in an hour. It actually felt rushed and we laughed about it on the way back to the car. The food was good - the highlight was probably the filet and the crab appetizer, with the weakest offerings in the dessert department. I know they're still working out the kinks, and I have dined at the other Napa locations, so I'm confident they'll get it together soon.

I was so excited about the new place opening in the area. It's gorgeous inside. I love the Holiday decor. They have a wide variety of wines and a few cocktails. It's a nicer place. The staff were friendly, but service was so slow. We waited 30 minutes to get our drinks water and put in the food order and it wasn't even busy. I could count the people there. I quite enjoyed the salad with chicken added. I didn't see Andy specials online. Server/bartender didn't make recommendations. She said everything is good. It's best to ask what type of food a person likes then make the recommendations. I will try this place on another day and time and see what my experience is like. Hope you enjoy!

I had the beef bourguignon and it had absolutely zero flavor. I'm not even sure how that is possible with this dish. The beef was watery, vegetables not properly cooked and very little sauce and it was light brown not the rich dark sauce you would expect. The service was awful but it seemed like it was our server, I'm not dinging them for that.

I was going to give this a 1 star, but the service was great so I'm giving it 2. It's not the servers fault the food was not good. I've been to the original location several times and never had a bad meal there. Not sure what is going on at this location. The restaurant is pretty. I came in with a large group of 20 people and ordered one of the specials : Shrimp alfredo. It was honestly the worst I've ever had in my life. Although it looked pretty, there were huge chunks of cooked onion in the dish. I could not taste the shrimp; I could not taste the pasta; I could not taste the sauce. ALL I could taste was onion. I joked afterward that I'd better not kiss anyone after eating it. The room we were seated in was all windows and was EXTREMELY cold. Do NOT sit here in the Wintertime. Then came the bill and a different person came around with an electronic gadget and TOLD everyone their total to pay and asked for a credit card. I don't like this at all. Each person deserves a written receipt to see what they were charged for. I told him I was paying cash. I was then given a receipt and noticed we were charged for bread even though our table never asked for it. Apparently our group leader asked for bread on each table and to split the cost with everyone without telling us, not problem. That issue was on us and our group. Honestly, the food was so horrible though I would never return.

I recently had a wonderful experience at this new Napa location. My husband and I split a few small plates and an entree and all of the food was excellent! The service was top notch, we went in at a time that wasn't very busy, which I feel like is key for a new restaurant, and the staff was so helpful, attentive and kind! We sat in the bar area and really enjoyed the ambiance. The only downfall to our entire meal was how uncomfortably cold it was inside the restaurant. We may wait until it's warm enough to sit outside on their patio to go back but I do look forward to dining here again - just dress very warm :)

I was really looking forward to giving a fantastic review unfortunately I couldn't. We had reservations on a Tuesday night at 7:30 and were seated promptly. Our first course was the mussels. The cream sauce was good, however it was like warm as was the bread that was served with. The second course was the charcuterie board and to be quite frank, I believe we were forgotten...it took quite an extended time before we were served and it simply looked like it was thrown together. The third course was the duck. The breast was cooked perfectly and the Swiss chard was very flavorful. Unfortunately the polenta was less than spectacular, it was very bland and just looked very unappealing. I had Terroir Cabernet which was very good. The interior is nice, the bar area actually appealed more to our taste than the dining room. The overall dinner was just ok, the prices are not appropriate for a just ok dining experience. My hope is that things will get better.

I made a reservation for a table and when we got there they sat us in a high top in the bar. They put two little tables together and the chairs were too high for us and we were very uncomfortable. We asked for a taste of wine as we weren't sure if we liked the wine. They brought out full glasses. It is a wine bar so I would think that wouldn't be a problem. My guest got the shrimp dish after an hour of waiting the pasta was lukewarm and the shrimp was cold. We had to send it back. They took the shrimp and left the pasta. By then the pasta was cold when they brought out the shrimp. I'm hoping it's because it's a new place but won't be back any time soon.

Location, atmosphere and decor are great! Love the bar area. While the food and service were not bad, they aren't worth going back for either imo.

Overall-Beautiful restaurant...the style is impeccable. The food was good. But the basics , to me, need major work. Also, seating could be improved. First impression- we were sat (party of 2) in between two other tables at a banquet. Never ideal for the middle table like us, but to make it more awkward each of those parties had a member directly facing us. There was a 3-top with someone looking at us, and a 2-top with someone seated next to their wife, looking right at us. Terrible set up for Valentine's Day! The dessert was blah. Chocolate cake was so dry it was almost inedible, and although it was dark brown, it's as though they left out the chocolate. If I was blind folded, I wouldn't know if it was chocolate, or like a bran muffin. We think it was baked days ago and then served. The rack of lamb was tasty, but seemed like it was cooked days ago and reheated. It was lacking that crispy crust with a juicy bite of meat. The polenta on the lamb set had already hardened.. it had obviously cooled before it was served. The carpaccio was also missing flavor. Carpaccio to me, has very little flavor on its own so it needs some bold ingredients near it (in my opinion). Every bite I kept hoping that I'd like it.. but sadly it was forgettable. I wouldn't order again. Scallops were yummy but kinda small for fine dining. The set they had them on was delicious with grapefruit and risotto.. but wasn't what we ordered. We did the special Valentine's Day menu, which had scallops with beets and garlic.. and I got the scallops off their regular menu in error. I ate it and enjoyed it but was bummed. I saw that garlic and beet scallop on the valentines menu when we made the reservation and knew I was getting that from the moment I read it. So that was a bummer. Of course Napa staff offered to swap but I didn't want to make a stink. We also waited way way way too long for a glass of wine and a beer. If you are going to make your tables wait for drinks, you should provide bread service (not charge for bread service). It should just show up, to make the table feel like they haven't been forgotten...Give them something. Also clear the tables in between courses and faster. I hate having to ask someone to take dirty dishes from me. Runners delivering food can also observe what needs to get taken away. They comped our wine for the scallop mistake, so that was very kind of them but for nearly a $300 meal for two (with not a lot of drinks by the way- that was 2 glasses of wine, a beer and 1 pelligrino), I expect way more. Sadly, we left disappointed. We both said we wouldn't order anything that we had ever again. That's not good.
