This place is a dive. Cheap but a dive. Not a Japanese steakhouse more of noodle place and low end at that. Food quality C-

Great for when you need something cheap and easy but don't want burgers. Not a higher end restaurant but clean and practical with excellent food. I have a frequent customer card and usually have take out anyway.

Average American japanese restaurant. Had "yakisoba" with teriyaki. noodles were decent i guess. Asked for med rare steak, came out fully cooked. Carrots came from a can. Everything tasted like soy sauce, little no to teriyaki at all. Paid 15.

I LOVE Nakama. Our business is very close to their location, and as busy as we get, it is wonderful to have great food so close by that we can bring back to the office and continue working. I usually order the Hibachi Chicken, and it is delicious. I also order the Salad with Ginger Sauce, and it is equally as good. If you want a quick, tasty meal that is not very expensive, I would recommend Nakama Japanese Steakhouse.

I have eaten here several times and I have to tell you it's the best food ever! I love their shrimp sauce over top of the Teriyaki Chicken plate, I always get rid of the broccoli and add mushrooms! They are cooked to perfection! Not greasy like most Japanese restaurants! The staff is always friendly, they try their best to remember names to go with voices for future orders and all orders are cooked within 10 minutes! They have never messed up an order since I've been eating there. When visiting N.C. recently, I knew I needed to go back there because nowhere in the rest of the United States have I found Japanese food this good!

Ive been getting food here for years never had problem. Until recently they forgot to put the extra shrimp sauce i ordered in bag so icalled they said we will replace it next time today i went to get food and i ask them about it and the lady that said she was the owner called me lair and accused me of trying to cheat them very disappointed wont be back

I got the steak teriyaki, actually not very much meat and noodles were just ok. Not very impressed.
