Murasaki Asheville

This place is like home! Spicy miso ramen is so good! I also love the filet hibachi meal. Lunch deal is the way to go!

The restaurant is smaller and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed while we were there. Food was pretty good, but some of the menu items and specials were confusing and hard to differentiate between. Wouldn't say don't try it, but not sure we would return.

They are still rocking! The food and service are still on par if not better than before. Well worth trying out!

We ordered Ramen and chicken hibachi. Both were good. The ramen could have had more spice. Service was outstanding and accommodating as we wanted the ramen to be completely vegan. We were at lunch and service was quick

My fiancé and I drove all the way from Atlanta to try out Chef Arsa new restaurant Murasaki Asheville. We knew it was going to be good but Chef Arsa who is part owner of this sushi restaurant has surely surprised us and has exceeded our expectations. We came here on a busy Saturday night and had a reservation to be seated at the sushi bar. Chef Arsa gave us the option to select from the menu items or do Omakase so we went with Omakase. Not sure if omakase option is available for all customers but we were surely glad we went with that. Chef Arsa carefully selected the menu items for us. He presented us with Red Snapper Crudo, Salmon Aburi, Smoked Toro, Tuna Tartare, Nigiri special, King of the sea roll, emperor roll(not in the menu), and ended the meal off with fried brownie and vanilla ice cream. Each plate was bursting with different flavors and texture. Our favorite was the Salmon Aburi! This wasn't just a dinner, it was such a wonderful/unforgettable dinning experience! There are plenty of parking in the plaza. The service here was amazing! Everyone was soo friendly! Our server Navlin was attentive, kind and helpful. Inside of the restaurant was really nice, calm, and zen. I am trying to find another reason to go to Asheville so I can stop by here for some great sushi! We can't wait to be back! Thank you chef Arsa for the best dinning experience ever!

The food is always great and the service always wonderful! I always end up taking my ramen home because it's so filling. Yay leftovers~

Hard to get authentic Japanese food locally but Murasaki checks all the boxes. Excellent staff and delicious food & drinks

We continue to eat here regularly because it is always excellent. The staff is very friendly, the menu extensive, and a very upscale decor. It is the best Asian restaurant in Asheville!

"The best food in the history of the world" ... said my 7-year old daughter's friend. :) But seriously, Murasaki is really good. The specialty "Rolls Royce" roll we tried was exceptional, as was the miso black cod. This might be the only sushi place we've found in Asheville that uses *actual* crab in its rolls - but still ask which ones, as they don't use in all of them. The only sort of 'weird' dish we tried was "Miso Carbonara" made with udon noodles - sounded intriguing, but for my taste was heavy on the cream, light on the miso, and lacking in texture. Glad to have this place on our radar now - we will be back!
