I ordered the beef soft tofu from Mukja, and it was really good! I enjoyed the spice level, but next time, I'll definitely make it spicier. My order was to-go, and while the customer service felt a bit dry, the quality of the food made up for it. That's why I'm giving it a 4--great food, just wish the service had been more welcoming.

Authentic Korean meal. The Alley 51 food hall is such an awesome setting to experience Mukja with their flavorful ramen and the drinks that make it a full experience. The staff was happy to help and the food came out quick!

Guess I'll be first! I've tried them twice...and here's my take.First of all, the booth is quite cute and catchy. Even the name is fun. "Mukja" is a korean word that means "Let's Eat". Anyway, I love their menu...great variety of Korean foods, and some Asian fusion foods...with some tantalizing combinations!First time I was here, I tried their Kimbap, with this Korean drink (Apple flavored?). Sadly, I was disappointed. Guess I was expecting Bulgogi Kimbap...but I think it was just spam for meats? My bad for not reading the menu more closely. The drink wasn't a favorite either...a bit too tarty? Oh Well.Thought I'd try again...and this time I tried their Chicken Katsu with Curry. Well, it was a very generous portion of Chicken Katsu, and it tasted good enough. However, not good enough to merit this 19 buck pricing. For that, it should be restaurant-quality...and served on a nice plate (not paper plates and plastic utensils)! Unfortunately, I didn't think this was. While crispy enough, the Katsu was just very sloppily made and cut. Curry sauce was OK...I wished it was a tad richer in flavor, and spicier. Also, the cole slaw was a really bad, tasteless version...while I loved that they threw in some Japanese radish (Takuan), it was just the most minimal sliver of radish. Lastly, I hated the "To-Go" paper carton presentation. Why not at least a large, sturdy paper plate for those dining in? The last version of Chicken Katsu with Curry I had was in Duluth...the whole platter (including Udon Soup!) costed 15 bucks, yet several times better...in taste and presentation. Not even close in comparision! (see my review for "Kisoya" in Suwanee, GA). Never again will I pay 19 bucks for something from a food court.Still, I haven't yet given up on this vendor just yet...only because I'm itching to try their Tteokbokki? Guess I'm willing to try them at least 1 more time.As a Korean, I really WANTED to love this place. However, I only halfway liked it. Again, I thought the foods were good enough, but I just thought the pricing was a bit off. If priced more fairly, I might have liked the place much more?

One of the worst Korean food ever had. Not only ordered beef soup but gave me tofu instead and also found rat shit in the rice. Disgusting!
