The best coffee shop in Charlotte. Staff is over the top friendly and personable, the drinks (especially matcha) are so so flavorful. Small batch and local! The shop has tons of seating, and I love to come for board game nights, book clubs, and writing club!The only thing I would improve are the food options! There are restaurants and Harris teeter nearby, but I'd love to stay in house.

Great coffee shop and conveniently located. Loved this area. It was rather packed on Sunday morning but wow they move fast! I tried one of their seasonal Halloween drinks - the Jack o Latte. Yum! All the flavors married perfectly but weren't overly sweet or powerful. The thing that stood out most to me about Mugs was their prices! They are so affordable! I couldn't believe my latte was less than $5, that's kind of unheard of nowadays. They also are dog friendly. Great bar, too. Cozy and loved the nook with the fireplace area. Highly recommend!

I brought my Mom here, and they were incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. They helped her in a wheelchair, and we enjoyed some tasty tea and coffee! Come on by and enjoy some delicious pastries & coffee and tea!

Gem in the neighborhood!Ambiance - it's the place for board games. Apparently many people staying here for hours. The shop does offer a variety of games as well. WiFi is available. The only thing is that the restroom is not super tidy, but I won't complain about it.Service - the barista was nice and helpful with my questions. She was also fast serving my coffee.Food - a good selection of drinks and snacks - if you get hungry playing games. The seasonal flavors were impressive and I love the cinnamon crunch. Large latte was $4 compare to Starbucks same size would be $6.

First off, best iced americano in Charlotte! There's 4 shots of espresso in their small and my husband and I go here once a week for our morning coffee. Oliver and his team already know the order when we walk in giving the best service. Besides the americano, their chai is so tasty and served extra hot!Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick coffee or even a place to study with some background noise.

Great experience! I got the lavender blossom latte which was divine and the everything bagel with egg, bacon and cheese which hit the spot. Very nice staff and ample parking. Very chill vibe inside with a variety of seating options and board games!

Great coffee place! They have amazing options of coffee and the quality was so fantastic. They have lots of options and everything was so fantastic. It has pleasant flavor and fantastic aroma too. Great selection of food and pastries. The place has interior setting with nice ambiance. Lovely and not so loud place. The service was good and amazing.

This is a friendly and warm coffee shop I love local coffee shops and have visited here every year when I visit Charlotte. People meet each other, study, work, and my friend and I chatted with strangers as they sat with their well behaved dogs. I wish I could come here more often. It's much nicer than my local coffee shop! The owner is great and knows how to make. Great specialty drink. I highly recommend!

I had a lovely cappuccino and my friend had a coffee both were great. First time and the barista guy was very kind, helped us with our order and even checked on us. The place had lots of space for working and chatting. Nice seating areas and board games. I look forward to going back.
