Mt.Pleasant Smoke House

This place has great barbecue - I particularly like the chicken and get the chicken sandwich with slaw and pickles. I only wish that the bun was a little heartier because it does tend to fall apart as it absorbs the sauce. My favorite side is the fried okra and the mac & cheese is great and really so is everything else that I've had there.

Lunch again was excellent. I had the McCorkle burger garnished with lean sliced brisket and bacon. Two thumbs up. Absolutely delicious.

This place has the BEST food and the BEST service-10. My family of 12 went for a birthday celebration. The smell when you walk in is incredible.The food was awesome and our server was amazing!!

We drove aways to eat here and it did not disappoint! We chose chicken sandwiches, I chose a chicken bbq forget which one,sorry, and my husband ate the chicken Philly. My husband did say my chicken was better. But his was still good. The fried pickles were crunchy and freshly fried. Onion ring had a nice coating. And although the Cole slaw may not look like much, it's full of flavor!We will be back! Oh, should mention that they were short handed but that did not interfere with our service. And the staff was very friendly.

This business is listed as Mt. Pleasant Smokehouse and Mount Pleasant Smokehouse.This is the second year in a row that we had the Mt. Pleasant Smokehouse cater a large event for us. We ordered food for 80 people, and our order was delivered at the time requested and piping hot. Our menu included pulled pork barbecue, smoked chicken quarters, baked beans, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. This was a church event so several volunteers provided our desserts, BUT Mount Pleasant Smokehouse banana pudding is excellent! Obviously I recommend Mount Pleasent Smokehouse because we had them cater two years in a row, and yes we will have them cater our next big event.
