Mr.Sushi

This place is run by super nice family, has plenty of parking, and the food rocks!The sushi is delicious and beautifully prepared. Menu has all the staples you would find at most other Japanese/sushi restaurants in town and all served by an attentive, very friendly staff.Skip the traffic downtown and give these folks some AVL love! They have a south Asheville location off Hendersonville Rd just south of the blue ridge parkway so if you are a tourist cruising through looking for a great reasonably priced sushi place, this is your spot!

This is a great addition to the Asheville area. Everything is super yummy and fresh, including the soups not pictured (each hibachi dish comes with a soup or salad to start). The rolls are substantial in size and delicious every time (the Las Vegas deep fried roll is my fave)! Quick and easy with accessible prices and you don't sacrifice quality. The ambiance is very simple but everything is clean and tidy. Even if you order to-go, everything is served appropriately and packaged nicely.

My daughter and I love walking down for lunch or early dinner. The las vegas and texas rolls are our go to. Give it a try.

I ordered a veggie coconut curry which was described as a green curry with thai basil. When it came it was not green at all, but a red curry, no basil. I asked the server about this and he promptly took the dish back to kitchen, then came back and said they couldn't make it any differently. I hadn't asked for my food to be taken and would have gladly eaten it regardless, but he didn't give me that option. I told the server I really only wanted curry, so he said that I could leave. Super rude service, I regret ever going. Was treated horribly (on new year's day of all days!) I wouldn't give this place any of your money.

When I read that they had a Tempura Rainbow Roll on the menu, I had to see what this place is all about. My roll and iced green tea were both delicious. While the roll was on the extra ricey side, the fillings and toppings were fresh and hearty. I was happily filled up enough with just one roll. I arrived at the restaurant at 11 when they opened, and the waitress was very kind. She went out of her way to brew my iced green tea which I appreciated. I would recommend giving this delicious sushi spot a chance if you're craving sushi in Asheville.

The Sushi combo #6 is fresh, delicious, well portioned for $15.99; no low sodium soy sauce seen However, husband disappointed with steak & shrimp hibachi on plate getting cold from kitchen to his table ( it's a cold day in Asheville). Also we ordered miso and got mushroom.The white sauce accompanying his plate was a favorite (I typically dislike the white sauce served)

One of the best places to eat in Asheville! They have an amazing selection of Japanese dishes, sushi, boba and even poke bowls! The owners are the best and make sure everything is top notch when it comes to the food and service! If you're ever in the area, I recommend stopping by to either location. Thank you again for the hospitality!

Nope. This was a vile wretched waste of money. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. Left half of it on the plate. The calamari salad was tough salt. The sushi was very suspect, greenish tint ends. There was two people who were servicing the place and they kept arguing about who knows, as they were speaking another language.

Shrimp Pad Thai is a must here. Finally found a place where they do a proper Pad Thai. Definitely coming back !

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the place was clean. The portions Are good as well.
