Mortimer's Cafe and Pub

It's good, not great.There's lots of signage talking about great service...and this place does indeed have great service...but you order everything at the bar? There's no table service. Weird setup, but it works.3-stars is mainly for the food which is pretty generic and just OK.Bartender was incredible though, running the show with power, grace, and a smile!

Absolutely horrible from every angle. The service was terrible. They acted like they didn't care if we were there or not. The dining room was hot because they left the door open. The food (we ordered sliders) was greasy and barely warm. $40 of food that was poorer in quality than McDonald's. A must avoid.

This is about the only plane In City center right now. The bartender was great. Sat at the bar, and had a great time chatting with locals. The Cheerwine cocktail- was dangerously delicious! Philly nachos!!

Mortimer's went above and beyond when I reached out to them about a large party lunch this past week. From allowing us to pre order, to having food ready upon arrival, to having the best attitude and the food being delicious, it was a phenomenal experience. Highly recommend!!!!

One of my favorite spots in Uptown particularly because it seems like there aren't too many places like this left Uptown. Located in the remnants of the once thriving Epicenter you'd be surprised to find that a few tenants have held on. Mortimers is one such tenant and I am thankful for it. One of the first places I grabbed a beer at when I first moved here so it has sentimental value for me. The place exudes a warm and casual vibe that is inviting the way a pub should be. Nothing new age or trendy about it just a good old fashioned local watering hole with friendly bartenders and regulars alike. I enjoy stopping in after work for a few cold beers and the food is enjoyable as well particularly their sandwiches!I'm not sure what the future holds for the Epicenter but I am happy to see that there is still some good leftover and I hope Mortimers is here to stay for the long haul.

Great bartenders and food. Drinks are priced well. Very good sandwiches and wings. Only downside is it's warm in there when hot outside.
