Fantastic Central America food! The menu is quite extensive and it was tough to make a decision because the pictures of the food looked so appetizing. I got the Salvadoran steak and my husband got the pork chops. Both came on a platter sized dish full of rice, salad, beans, plantains and protein. Amazing flavor! Our service was polite, quick and efficient. We had drinks, salsa and chips in 5 minutes. The restaurant was more like a cafeteria with bright lights and the music made it feel like we were entering into a party. Nice bar with ample choices and a TV with soccer playing. I'm returning for the pupusas!! A jewel in North Carolina.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon they were packed but service was quick. I had grilled fish with salad. Hubby had steak and salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. A lot of people call in their orders and get takeout. Everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo here, but we really came for the Honduran and Salvadoran food more than Mexican. We got way too much food and I'm still in a food coma. We ordered a pork and cheese Pupusa, Baleada #5, chorizo tacos, the Salvadoran steak, tres leches, and horchata. For $6 I thought the Baleada would be small, but it was huge. It could have been my whole meal. It was all fantastic. My favorite thing was the Pupusa followed very closely by the Baleada. The tacos were great, but they didn't stand out as much to me since I don't see baleadas and pupusas on as many menus around. The sweet treats were great. I loved both the tres leches and the horchata. I think the tres leches was the best I've had. They aren't doing curbside right now, so you'll need to order over the phone and go inside to pick it up. They also can't take payment over the phone, so you have to pay inside. These weren't the best for social distancing, but luckily no one was inside when we were there. There are a lot of comments in reviews about them not speaking English well, but that was not a problem for me. The Batch Maker recommended this for Honduran food and I'm so glad she did. We loved it and it's not something you see much around Charlotte!

Wow, what a meal. It's not common to see Honduran food in the US. Salvadoran food is a bit more common, but is still hard to find. If you look at the low reviews, you'll see that those people were not ordering Salvadoran or Honduran food, and knew very little about Latin American culture in general. I'm glad that I ignored those reviews, and went here, based on the recommendation of a colleague. The food was amazing. I was sitting on a table across from a group of five, so I was able to see their food as well as my food. I think my soup, the Honduran Seafood Soup, is the prettiest bowl of soup I've ever had. It also might be one of the tastiest, but it took me almost two hours to eat the vast majority of it. I asked for an empty bowl for all the shells, since I didn't feel right putting them on the table. The bowl contained four crab clusters, and multiple clams, mussels, shrimp, and assorted vegetables. There was a full serving of fish on top, a bowl of rice w/ veggies next to it, and some warm tortillas wrapped up in foil. Easily enough food for two people, or for two meals. The complimentary chips and salsa were great as well. I also can't say enough about the service. The hostess and waitress were extremely friendly, checked in several times to see how I was doing, and get a solid 5 stars. The whole experience cost me $22 w/ tax and tip, which is very reasonable for the amount of food, specifically seafood, that I received. I bookmarked it, and will certainly be back.

Food was ok. Whole fried fish was petrified. Service SUCKED. I ordered a margarita. If you know me you will understand that I drink the whole thing and I could still speak. I can still feel my lips. I have come to the conclusion it was no alcohol. We asked for the manager who made us another. I asked for no salt in my ankles are swelling as we speak because there was salt.I'm not coming back. I'll go up the street to the Vietnamese place

Excellent food at this restaurant. I love to have the bean and cheese pupusa's. They are delicious and take a little bit longer because they are homemade but worth the wait.

I called to place an order. They hung up on me twice in the middle of ordering & stopped picking up the phone for me when I was respectfully placing my order. They were very rude on the phone. Definitely won't respect or support a business like that. There's restaurants everywhere who deserve support anyways. This ain't it

I visited this restaurant for breakfast today with my family unfortunately for us we started with left foot with the ugly look from the waitress we ordered breakfast and she never asked how we want eggs cooked and we forgot to mention it . She brought the eggs the way she want it and never offer to do it right ....and get upset ...ok lady we understand that anyone can have bad days but please don't come to work with attitude The owners need to train people to offer a better service for customers your food could be very good but it can ruin your reputation too
