This is a top 10 course as designate by the B-Man, Chris Beeman. His ratings come out yearly and this course is consistently in the top 10.Don't let the fact that it's a municipal course slow you down. This is the nicest muni I've ever played. It's a Donald Ross design so it's a classic!Richard who runs the inProShop is great and has an answer for every one of your questions. They have a driving range, chipping area & separate putting green. All are in great condition. You will love the wide open fairways! The tee boxes are in great condition & large. They have tee positions that will suit every level of play. Most of the greens were in really good shape. There were maybe three or four that had bare spots but not unusual given the weather. They have GPS on the carts. They had rain the night before so many of the holes were 90 degree or 'cart path only' You will get a beep top and a nasty gram if you try to defeat the guidelines. As a Senior on a Monday, I got a great rate of $48 bucks for 18 holes with cart. It's a course I highly recommend!

Took a day off work, wound up here on a cool weekday morning, discovered that I qualify for discount golf!! yea for advancing years!greens fees are reasonable under $40 riding: Tee boxes are well kept with a choice of four levels of difficulty according to distance, distractions, and sight lines. Cart paths and GPS keep you heading in the right direction and away from trouble - sometimes with a gentle nudge, sometimes it disables your car.Nothing spectacular here, just an enjoyable day out: Fairways are smooth and even, going astray hurt a little but wasn't brutal; the sand was soft and bunkers well defined; water was generally clear and deep; and the greens were in good shape despite heavy traffic. Remember that you are on a muni and play accordingly: if you are scoring badly please do it quickly :-)

Great rennovationThe Mooresville Golf Club was closed for a period of time as it was undergoing a major renovation. My wife and I had a brunch there last Sunday and got a chance to see the results. I played this course a number of times over the years but have not played here in probably 8 or 9 years. They had one hole where the fairway parallel Wilson Road and it there is a hazard, my ball would head that way. Never hit an oncoming car but bounced a couple off the pavement and came close to hitting a car one time. That said, we did not play this course at this time and it's going to be awhile before I can because of upcoming hip replacement surgery. They did a great job on the course and I will definitely try it out when I am able.Pro Shop which is next to the restaurant looked well stocked and may try that out as well when I can.

This is a hidden gem in the Lake Norman area. The staff is friendly, and they have new golf carts. Once you're on the course, you will find plush fairways and smooth greens. But watch out for the tall grass as I lost several a balls.

Yep, the second time I'm reviewing this course and nothing has changed. The staff on this course is literally out to lunch. We are on the fifth hole and we are already over 20 minutes behind schedule. Pace of play is so slow and the staff just doesn't care.

Sadly a nice course but members of the course are usually grabbing there times and that's fine but they walk and they are older and they are slow ..if you have five hours to kill and don't mind waiting at every tee box go for it ...They need to shorten the tee boxes this course is too long for the quality of golfers playing it ..Four older men walking with carts hitting the ball 100 yards at a time not fun NO rangers doing anything about it ..Shame because it could be a great track if Rangers would do their job and move them along or insist on carts at certain times like all the time

This place needs a LESSON in GOOD BUSINESS! I pulled my credit card statement for this review to highlight how much money I have spent here relative to the business acumen this place doesn't have. I have spent $2,952.00 on large buckets in the last six months alone. When I purchase buckets, I have ALWAYS been told that if I do not use them, bring the ticket back in, and they will refund the bucket. Today, I bought two large buckets and went to the range. There were a few buckets left on the range next to me with a few balls in them for whatever reason. I hit those buckets as they were just left; we are talking about another 25 balls. After hitting, I decided I did not need to hit another LARGE bucket of balls that I had paid for, not only due to getting a few extra balls from left buckets but also due to the ridiculous humidity and heat. When I went to the pro shop to refund the large bucket ticket I did not use, I told them I did not need it due to the heat and the fact that people had left a few extra balls out there today, and I got to hit a few extra. I was told that is not how it works and that they would not refund me because I got to hit a few extra balls. ARE YOU F*&CKING KIDDING ME!!! YOU CHEAP POS of a golf course. I have spent $2600 in buckets alone in the last six months, and THAT's NOT HOW IT WORKS, IS MY ANSWER.I will be calling the GM of this place when he returns from his vacation to see if he has any more business sense than the jackass who lost a customer for them today. As a business owner, it is not the $12 I lost that I care about; the money is irrelevant; it is the pure lack of respect for your customers who have supported your course throughout the winter months, helping you pay your bills!Apparently, You're the ones who need the $12 bucks! Lame Course and staff, WON'T BE BACK!!!!

wish there were no stars to rate, they don't even deserve one. I'm new in the area and called for information and was treated as if they were bothered by potential new comers, I spend almost five figures a year playing and supporting the golf courses I frequent and for this people to brush off anyone without even giving it a try is horrible business. Wonder how the owners allowed this. Fortunately we live in a country with many choices so someone else will rip the benefits of valuable customers
