Moonset General Store

This is a really adorable general store outside of Morrow Mountain state park. It's a little sparse inside however it does have some necessities like diapers and fire starters. They also have some live bait. They have lots of soda and honey for sale however most people were there for coffee and ice cream. I am so glad that I stopped here it really made the trip.

Great little general store right outside of Morrow Mountain. It's a nice stop if you are in the area and want to support local and/or grab some delicious ice cream, coffee, or candy. They've got some of those old school candy jars and have a decent selection of cones and flavors for the ice cream. We loved the moose track flavor. The outside has a nice old school checkers board and seats for stoopin.This store sells things like local bbq sauces, honeys, and other speciality goods. They have some kids toys and a few other basic grocery items as well but perhaps as expected given their rural location and types of products it is not cheap. This place has a real community vibe and in non-covid times they have music and other gatherings with the great little outdoor space. Would love to come back and check that out as well as say hello again to the friendly staff.

Great little place to stop in before or after your visit to Morrow Mountain State Park to pick up snacks and drinks. They also sell products made locally, like honey, crafts, and a few other things. Some camping supplies and firewood are also available. Stop in and help out a small business. Say hi to Bigfoot while you're there.
