Momo Truck

The Momo truck specializes in Cuisine from the Himalayan foothills of Nepal, India and Bhutan. They're main dish is their MoMos (dumplings). They also offer a wide variety of other dishes like Asian Tacos, Lo Mein and Katsu Rolls. I had to try everything so I placed a huge togo order. It took about 45 minutes to complete my order. I got the Veggie, Chicken and Paneer Dumplings, the Chicken Noodle Bowl, Cheesy Curry Chicken over dumplings, the Katti Roll and the Chicken Rice Bowl. My least favorite dish was the Chicken Noodle Bowl (Lo Mein). There wasn't much flavor and it was kinda dry. My favorite dish was the Paneer Dumplings. They are so tasty. The creamy cheese and veggie mix dumpling with the MoMo sauce are a must try. Please note the menu online and the one on the truck are a little different. Momo's food truck now has a location in 7th street market. I tried their special for the day. This was chicken and noodles and 3 dumplings for $11. Not bad at all. It was super filling. The chicken dish wasn't as flavorful as I'd like. Nothing a little salt and pepper didn't fix and the dumplings were very tasty! They were my favorite for sure! Can't say I would go back any time soon. But they were good for a quick and different lunch option. If I do go back I would definitely try something else, but still order the dumplings!

Got to know about the Nepalian/Himalyan/ Indian food truck hqving "momo" as the first name. Instantly I was excited to try them since I have been craving them so much with the hot chilly sauce. Finally ordered the Chicken Dumplings but the curry flavor was really strong. This was my first time having a yellow chicken filling in dumplings. The sauce didn't excite as well. Didn't meet my expectations at all.Though the service was prompt and the dumplings were steamed well.

Tacos were awesome! Wings were very crispy! Wish you guys had ranch but it was good either way

Momo has some very good Asian Fusion. Mike at Birdsong was eating their Lo Mein and it smelled awesome. 5 minutes later I was placing my order. The owners are very friendly and gave me a substantial warning when I said "sure give me a spicy level of 10". They basically said be prepared to take the day off from work tomorrow. I could swear I said well then give me a 6 or 7 but they didn't get the message. The "spicy 10" is melt your face off hot. Beyond the heat, there are lots of goodies like chicken and broccoli mixed in along with some really nice smoky flavor. The portion is also huge - I ate leftovers for two days! Going to try their dumplings next go 'round!So if you're out drinking and hungry, for $8 you could easily have delicious Lo Mein for two!

My husband and I tried the Momo truck at the Charlotte Unite Festival. It was our first time hitting up an Asian Fusion food truck. We ordered the Katti Roll and the fried dumplings. The Katti Roll is like a burrito but instead of a tortilla, it's paratha. The inside is stuffed with tender chicken, onions, peppers, and sauce. I have no idea what that sauce is called, but it's amazing! My only regret regret is not ordering two because I had a hard time sharing!

We just moved from Vegas and we were craving for our food from back home, and this place is it for great Nepali food.. found my new favorite place for momos I say they're the best in charlotte that I've been to. I been to every place searching for the best and these momos are it!

Fabulous "Momo" dumplings in true Tibetan style!! First, I am a fan of dumplings and in particular Tibetan style. I discovered the momo dumplings in NYC when I lived there and they are my favorite food!! Imagine my joy to find the Momo truck in CLT! The dumplings are similar to other asian dumplings, tasty & savory, you can order chicken or vegetables. I think they have a flavor that will appeal to any dumpling fan. The owner was so fun to talk to and we both know my favorite NYC Tibetan restaurant (Cafe Himalaya). These dumplings come with two sauces, a sweet sauce, which was delicious & a spicy sauce, which was also tasty. I prefer the sweet with a tangy honey flavor. They also have other asian dishes, my friend had the vegetarian wrap and loved it. We found them at Blue Blaze brewery this time but if you follow the Momo truck on insta they post their schedule. Definitely give ya foodie taste buds a treat and eat some momos!!

One of my favorites for Asian fusion. The best dumplings and Katti rolls! Everything is made with fresh ingredients and is amazingly delicious

The fact that this is not a 5 star rating is a travesty. This is honestly the best food truck that I have ever come across. What they do with a Asian/ Indian fusion is just absolutely delicious. I have waited for weeks for this food truck to come back to our local brewery just to eat the food. Huge fan of the chicken pot stickers and the Katti Roll. I'm talking 20 pots stickers, that's how good. My family had paneer potstickers which they loved and the lo menu. You seriously need to look them up and find out where there going to be and get there. If you can't, just cater to them..... this is the type of food you need in your life that you didn't even know existed. P.S. we seriously scheduled a baby sitter around this food truck.... That good.....
