Momma's Place

I finally made it here for lunch after hearing so many good things and reading so many great reviews.I guess it was Momma who was running the place. I fold her it was my first time in and she explained how it all works. There are plenty of tables and chairs so you grab a menu, place your order with Momma, then she prepares your order, wraps it to go, even if you are eating in, collects your money and you're good.Such a good looking menu, with many great options. Some of the salads looked so good but I decided to go with the avocado burger with swiss on a kaiser roll.The meat patty was huge and it was quite a meal. The swiss cheese was just out of this world fresh and great flavor. Momma told me she gets all her bread and cheese from a distributor from Manhattan.It's a very down home vibe, with lots of family photos on the wall.It'c clear Momma has the New York connection going on.I'l def be trying this place again soon.

Came in with the wife to grab breakfast never been here and was impressed with the quality of the how the food was prepped and made to order. Especially with a one woman show running the grill and register! I got the everything bagel bacon egg and habanero jack cheese and it was worth the wait.

First time trying Mommas place for lunch - got the club and fries- it was delicious and was a hefty portion size (yay -leftovers!!) Owner and staff were super friendly!! Will be back!

This place gets a 5-star. If I could give more stars, I would. I got an Italian sausage, eggs and pepper jack cheese sandwich on a roll for breakfast. Then for lunch I got a western or southwestern omelette with fries and toast. I going to make a mean sandwich with that. So freaking good. I came to Rock Hill to cover a property and wanted breakfast. The realness of the young lady that worked with me was second to none. Freshly made everything. We had great dialogue. I will drive to Rock Hill JUST to eat there. Thanks so much for being the meals I needed. I recommend this place to everyone.

Best customer service ever!! The food was so fresh and delicious! Definitely get one of those shaken ice teas! We will be back!

Tried this place because Rock Hill Deli was closed for vacation. Not much good to say except it literally feels like Momma's place - Momma cooking and kids watching. I hope they can hire actual cooks and let momma run court over the operation as it will close if she can't get some actual help. Kids were super friendly but have no idea how to help or run a restaurant.

Love everything about Momma's Place! Momma (Chris) is AWESOME!! Everything you order is lovingly made, the way you want, by Momma, herself! Delicious, filling, comforting food. Why would you NOT want that in your day? And if you are lucky enough to get there when she's not busy, all the better. This wonderful lady welcomes you with warmth, ease, her beautiful smile, and a nice conversation. If you're not sure what to get, just ask her 'cause she loves food. Let her recommend something. The Pork Roll is very popular and so good. It's a "now and later" breakfast sandwich. You eat as much of it as your belly can hold now and save the rest for later. It just as good later. As soon as she knows what you want, she's ON IT. Her charm & personal touch makes you want to stay. Her menu makes want to try everything. Her food makes you KNOW you're coming back. But, believe me, you know you've got to come back long before you even take one bite of food. Momma's Place is small but very clean and homey with lots of family photos on the walls. But the food. OMG, the FOOOD!! On point & made just for you!! Her bagels are the best I've ever had!! I have her load them with the the tastiest cream cheese around. She gets them shipped from "home" (New York/Jersey) so it's the REAL THING!! I am now spoiled for the awful things we buy at the store. She's got really good coffee which can be flavored if you want. You can even get a cold Root Beer. If you're in a hurry, call in your order & pick it up at her drive-thru window! How ever you prefer, just go! It's worth!! The locals have been keeping this place a secret!! It's in a small strip mall so you can pass it right up. DON'T. It's an easy in & out at a stop light. Find it!! You'll be glad you did. Wow Momma's I went by there last Friday and saw you were closed for good. Where are we going g to get those great bagel breakfast sandwiches? Well I hope you and your family are well and that we'll see each sometime somewhere!

I was in town for a funeral and my cousin and I yelped this place. So we stopped in... This place was bbbuuusssyyyy! Folks didn't stop coming... We had to wait a while to be seated. Place is a little small.. The woman who was helping us was very helpful.. She was shaking and moving.. It was 7 of us. We eventually was seated and ordered..... Bbbaaabbbbyyyy, that food was right on time... The fish was fried nice with seasoning.. the grits were cooked well.. If there is one bad thing I had to say.. it would be the OJ was not fresher squeezed! Will visit again when I'm back in RH!

First time, got the Italian sub which was listed as a popular menu item on yelp. The sweet red bell pepper made this sub standout, extraordinary! Bread meat and cheese was as a notch above too. Prices are modest compared to the local sub chains.Only thing I didn't care for was it was take out only, even though they have tables. Staffing issue perhaps? In either case, I'm skipping the normal chain sub shops in the future to see what else in on the menu and support this small local shop. I believe the owner was taking order and making the subs.
