Love Mochica because of its menu and serving size. There are better Peruvian restaurant out there I have to say. I just get half chicken with beans if I am nearby. Some other place they cook the rice with chicken stock so it has more flavor but rice here is kinda plain. Dipping sauce is kinda bland and watery too. That's why I said there are better Peruvian restaurant our there. Ceviche is ok. Noodles and other stir fry is good though, kinda oily but they are well seasoned. Maybe I will get those next time instead of chicken

I explored Concord and discovered a charming Peruvian restaurant. Impressed by positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. The hostess was friendly and patient. Opting for takeout, I found the food to be delicious, accompanied by a somewhat frugal portion of sauce. Despite that, I managed to get extra sauce and plan to revisit for a different dish. Overall, enjoyed my experience and would recommend to family and friends.

The food was good. I had the chicken, edamame, and plantains. The chicken was juicy & flavorful & the sauce provided with it was tasty, the edamame was slightly undercooked but still edible & the plantains were cooked perfectly. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to the poor customer service. It took 7 minutes for someone to take my order & I was literally the only customer standing in line. Multiple employees walked by me without even acknowledging me standing at the register. For context there was a total of 6 customers in the entire restaurant (family of 4 dining in & me and my baby) so not busy at all. Let's be kind & courteous to one another, at the very least acknowledge your customers as human beings.

Fairly priced and great tasting Peruvian(and now Colombian) food.My partner and I came right when they opened so they were still getting things prepped. I loved their chichamorrado drink. I ordered the 1/4 dark meat chicken with black beans and yuca frita(for additional cost) and my partner got the bandeja paisa. The chicharron was so crispy and the carne was smoky and flavorful on the bandeja paisa. The rotisserie chicken was smoky and moist and the sauces paired well with them. My only complaint is the black beans were too watery, I had to fish them out with a fork in their "soup." The staff was friendly and nice. The food came out in a timely manner. A good, quick, inexpensive place for lunch. I will have to try their ceviche in salsa amarilla and arroz chaufa next time.

The ambiance is lovely, it feels like a home not just a restaurant. You can taste the love in the authentic cuisine. I have gone back twice! since I was introduced to the place & I will continue to go back. The food is sooooo delicious!!! I had the chicken with mushroom sauce & the black beans every time! I like what I like. I will try something else eventually.Pechuga en Crema de Champiñones

I'd definitely eat here again, just customer service was very bad on this day. I do tip when I eat out but the person pulling my order up to be paid out since I called in was so mad for some reason, 1st I thought it was because I didn't tip but that probably just made her more pissed when the whole reason I didn't tip was because of her. I asked for more sauce and she just said "it's in the bag" I asked, if it was more added additional she said once again "ITS IN BAG!" I'm like okay and to get home to find out we hardly had enough but that didn't matter because the sauce was so nasty and not even a half way full container. Good place to eat for a different taste to eat but I definitely wouldn't make this my main place to eat at as they may began to mess with the taste of your food next. Other than that food had great flavor the fries tasted like it was sitting for a while while then chicken was skimped across my tray. Good food, bad for your buck.

A pleasant surprise in Concord. I didn't expect to find a Peruvian restaurant when I ran a few errands but when I saw it I had to give it a try. When I walked in you could smell the great rotisserie chicken. The menu options are not impressive yet it has everything you would want for lunch or dinner. The location of the restaurant is also not all that impressive but it is convenient for those who live in the area - easy in and out. The restaurant is more of a fast-food type restaurant. Not very impressive as it is not decorated in any manner; rather plain. I wasn't planning on staying so it was ok for me. You place your order then sit or wait for taking out. I had the chicken and I was not disappointed. It is a nice replacement for Viva Chicken. I really enjoyed it and would recommend you try it.

A family friend suggested this place. I had been to the Subway right next door to it a few times and never even realized it was there. I went in tonight after I got the recommendation and let's just say I'm a fan! I had the best Chicken Wrap I've ever had in my life, the atmosphere is casual and the prices are very reasonable. If you're in the area and you're hungry, give this place a shot. You won't regret it.

I'd been there in the past and enjoyed it. I've sent others there. Today, it was so horrible. The waitress was hostile and wouldn't wait on me then I went up to the counter to order and eat, but she gave it to me as a to-go meal. The chicken was flavorless. They gave me three fries. The waitress shoved me while I was in line, and it was deliberate because she glared fiercely at me. They treated me like dirt. YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IF YOU ARE Caucasian. It is an irrefutable fact. I'm a great tipper, so that's not it. They are doing well now, so gringos are verboten. I feel wretched that I sent so many people there in the past, especially from the church I attend (it's in the same shopping center). I am telling everyone I know to stay away! I know lots of people. I've brought in fairly large groups--NEVER AGAIN! It was such a terrible experience!!!
