Miso Sushi & Hibachi

A hidden little gem in Chapin, good food and usually quick service. Can get sushi if you want. Can dine in but seating inside is limited. Decent amount of food as compared

Not impressed at all ! Dirty run down , no restrooms and just smelled bad . Walked in to this place and was yelled at what you want , to go ?! I said me and walked out .I have tried to go to this place numerous times and they have been closed . Bet your bippy I won't EVER go back.

We LOVE Japanese hibachi food! We are transplants from the MD/DC area and we were thrilled to discover this restaurant. While it isn't a fancy Japanese steakhouse, it does have the excellent food and prices ! I have 2 very picky eaters and they are members of the clean plate club when we eat here. Everyone can get their favorites.. steak, chicken & shrimp plus 1 with just steam rice - orders were exactly as requested. Food was Great ! We have had take out & eat in . Prices are very reasonable.

This restaurant has been my favorite since I moved to Chapin a few years ago. I love nearly everything they have on the menu from the fried rice (which is the best I've ever had) to the beautiful specialty rolls, and not to mention the dragons egg (deep fried half avocado filled with salmon and covered in sauces). They are always prompt with my order and it's almost always perfect. The only downside is that the inside of the restaurant is tiny and there's only about 6 or 8 tables, so order your food to go. The sushi here is phenomenal! I've never been disappointed with fish I've eaten from here and I've never been (or heard of anyone being) sick from the fish here which is rare for a sushi restaurant. The fish is all fresh and responsibly sourced, and it isn't dyed or anything either. 10/10 on sushi. The reason this gets 4 out of 5 from me is the Miso soup. I LOVE miso soup but I won't eat it from here. It's the only thing on the menu that isn't genuinely delicious and it's actually really gross. It's disappointing because the restaurant's name is "Miso" but their miso soup is bad. The wonton soup is great, the egg drop soup is great, the clear soup is great, but idk what happened to the miso soup.

We do not live super close to this area, so chose this take-out location based on the positive online reviews. We could not have been much more disappointed... We ordered two hibachi Teriyaki chicken plates. The chicken had no flavor at all, just tasted like baked wet chicken. The rice tasted like boxed boiled rice. I tried to make it more edible by adding sauce, so I poured the white sauce on it. The flavor of the sauce was good, but it was so runny it sunk straight down through the rice. Was not worth the 25-30 minute wait. The Gentleman ahead of us called his order in and it took 45 minutes for his order to come out. Wish I had gone down the street to Zestos. This place is a zero compared to Miyabi Jr.

Super Mama is delicious and I have not found anything similar anywhere. The Hibachi steak is fresh and flavorful. A hidden gem in Chapin.

This is one of our regular go twos great service great prices. Especially love the crab ragoons. I think they might call them something else but they are definitely the biggest stuffed ones we've ever had anywhere. They have forgotten a special request a couple of times but always apologize and replace it. Great find for a small town! Highly recommend it.

We have been ordering takeout from Miso in Chapin for years. Their quality and taste is very good and preparation is done with care. I highly recommend them.

Simply outstanding... we won't order from any other place! There is nothing on the menu that we have tried that was not simply great. We whole heartedly recommend Miso to one and all!

The hibachi and sushi are both good. Sushi is made fresh and the service is quick. I've never had a problem.
