Service was not the best. Brought wrong side. Meat was tough and could t enjoy the meal. Last visit

Was over at Matthews Festival around dinner time today and got a to-go dinner from Miki's. I had eaten breakfast here many times and always liked it, so I thought I'd try dinner. Got the lasagna special, with garlic bread, and side salad. Very good.

Great variety of food. Service is always quick and courteous. I usually get the Reuben which is very good. Comes with one side. There's about 15-20 different sides to choose from. This place is a good 'go-to' spot.

Oh, I could tell you, the manager or owner needs anger management! He tore into a tyrant because of my food was not cooked properly. Literally grab the check from the table crumbled it in his hand said nastily don't come back!

I came here with my friend Jenny Massad for breakfast Sunday morning a week before Christmas. I enjoyed PERFECT over-medium eggs with my crispy bacon while Jenny had savory country ham alongside her fluffy omelette.THE COFFEE WAS EXCELLENT!I understand lunch is pretty good too, especially the chicken tenders. From what I see, it looks like a great spot to grab a meat and two veg kind of deal.Simple, tasty breakfast and great service at a reasonable price. Recommend!

Well, this was a surprise! I'm from Charlotte but no longer live in the South. I'm in a Southern-adjacent region that likes to claim "Southern-inspired" food on the menus of many restaurants, but they always get the most important thing wrong: there are no veggies anywhere in sight. Putting shrimp and grits on the menu does not a Southern restaurant make. Anyway, I'm digressing...I'm in town to visit family and bemoaned the lack of access to good Southern-style veggies in my current region, so my family had a "hold my beer" moment and brought me to Miki's. We had the chicken-fried chicken with white gravy, and as many veggies as I could shovel down my gullet. The chicken-fried chicken was perfectly fried and moist; the white gravy was exactly what you'd expect; the black-eyed peas, cabbage, and greens were cooked through and seasoned well; the stewed apples, stewed okra and tomatoes, and mashed potatoes and gravy were on point; and the fried squash was piping hot and delicious. This isn't fancy food, there is no pretense; this is solid country-style cooking. The veggies were served in little plastic cafeteria bowls - a requirement as far as I'm concerned - and the service was quick and friendly. Count me in for a trip to Miki's every time I'm back in town.

Huge omelettes, friendly, staff, good, old-fashioned old-school breakfast. Great fluffy biscuits.

The food was amazing. The service was what I would expect in a 5star restaurant. Portions are very filling. The staff a gentleman and lady maybe the owners were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well cared for. We have found a new favorite fore sure.

No pictures today but I really enjoyed this place. Been here twice once for breakfast and once for dinner. Great good old southern food and friendly staff. I must note, the food was prepared very clean, little to no grease and everything tasted great. Fair price too!

Awesome food and amazing service! What a gem! I'll gladly drive an hour to eat again! Miki & crew are amazing!!
