Mike’s Vegan Grill

1/19 We were looking for something vegan last weekend and decided to try Mike's. There were so many items we wanted to try from pizza, burgers, cheesesteaks, milkshakes and more. But we only got to try the fiesta fries and chili cheese fries. We weren't disappointed with either. I really liked the decor vibe and the music selection. We were able to place our order at the counter and it was delivered to our table. There was a good selection on types of sitting areas. The cashier was friendly and gave great suggestions. Our order was ready pretty quickly. The food was very flavorful. I can't wait to go back again and try some of their other options. Whether you're vegan or not I would recommend you to try this place.

Mike's is a really nice place for someone who may be transitioning or testing veganism. But for me, a more conscious vegan who avoids soy, this was not it.I had the crunchwrap, "chicken wings," sweet potato tots and ice cream. The best thing was the sweet potato tots which says a LOT. The Crunchwrap was greasy, barely held flavor and was not like a Crunchwrap from Taco Bell as it was missing that cheesy goodness and pico de gallo/lettuce/etc. The ice cream was pretty good too, they gave a big portion for $7 (it lasted me a whole week). I also want to acknowledge the customer service. The menu is PACKED so it took me a few minutes to decide on what I wanted. The rep answered every question I had in an honest and patient manner. Again, all love towards this place but as someone who strives to eat healthy, I wouldn't place it at the top of my list. I hope my feedback can be taken into positive consideration

Mike's is normally a bit far for us, but we were going to a game at UNCC and give them a visit. We are very glad we did. We both had the Carolina Burger, it was very good, I have not had a burger with chili and slaw in more than 8 years. It was cooked perfectly and the chili was very good. I had regular fries, they have a little spice on them, very good. My wife had the chili cheese fries, she really enjoyed them with the chili being so good. They have a large menu with a lot other fast food type vegan food. I saw some good looking vegan deserts too!We will go back for sure.

You wouldn't know their food is vegan, that Philly cheesesteak was delicious. Service was quick and the food was hot. I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

I was meeting my friend at another place and I saw the sign for Mike's and we quickly changed our minds. I visited the food truck in Greensboro. I was so excited to "stumble" across this location in another city. I definitely wanted to try their brick and mortar. It is so nice on the inside. It is very vibrant! The music was upbeat. I absolutely love the decor. The staff was very friendly. My friend order the tuna sandwich and I ordered a bratwurst. She said her sandwich was really good. My bratwurst was banging! I'm not vegan, but I would become one if I could eat their food every day. The slaw and peppers were perfect with the sauce. The word to best describe this business is consistent. I've never had a problem with their food. It is delicious and is always presented well. Can't wait to go back.

After our gym workout the hubby and I were hungry. He asked if I wanted to try Mike Vegan Grill. I obliged, so off we went.The restaurant is in a shopping center. There is a walkway you will have to go through before you will see the restaurant on the left side.We entered a semi spacious restaurant, although the entrance is cramped since the register is directly in front of the entrance door. We waited to order our food, but the wait was not that long. My hubby opted for the El Classico burger with seasoned fries, watermelon lemonade and a biscoff cookie milkshake. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak; however, I wanted the gluten-free bun. The restaurant did not have gluten-free buns for the philly cheesesteak so they just made me a burger and put the cheese and veggies on the burger. We received the milkshakes first which I thought was strange. I would have preferred for the milkshakes to come last.Finally, we received our food after a 15 wait. I started on the fries. The fries were not bad. The vegan cheese was pretty tasty. Next, I tried the burger. I took the top bun off because it was too much. I would prefer some of the bread be scooped out. The burger was also good. It tasted like a real beef burger. Finally, I tried the milkshake. It was absolutely delicious. My hubby didn't like the milkshake because he is used to milkshakes made with cows milk, so I drank/ate his too.Customer service was excellent. We were checked on multiple times, and all of the staff were friendly.Although pretty pricey for what you get (we paid $71 plus tip), I would definitely recommend Mike Vegan Grill to those looking for a decent vegan restaurant. Every single thing on the menu is 100% vegan! This store actually has vegan pastas and pizzas as well, which is more variety than the other Greensboro location -even though we love that one too. My husband usually doesn't like vegan food, but when he gets the hot dogs and sweet potato tots here, it's a different story. We will be back! 10/10

I would follow their food truck when I lived in High Point. When I moved to Charlotte in 2021-2022, Mike's had not yet established a permanent location in Charlotte, so I would drive to meet the truck on the day they came to Charlotte. Service was easy and fast. In fact, the young man was very proud my order was simple and easy. My food came out quickly. I was in and out within 10 minutes. The location is good.

Absolutely loved it here!! I was overwhelmed with options and loved the food I got! Everyone was also very nice! It was chill and clean! I brought an omnivore friend with me, and he also liked the food! I would definitely recommend!
