Midtown Park

Took engagement photos at this location it was perfect! It's easy to park and you can walk around and take amazing pictures

We got takeout in the area and were looking for tables in the shade to eat at. This park was right across the street. It's a very small park and it's mostly an open grassy area with minimal trees/shade. Luckily, there are some trees that provide shade around the perimeter of the park and there's small tables set up with chairs. This park was a little crowded for my normal preferences, but we were able to get a table closer to the greenway which was further away from most people who were along the Kings Drive section of the park. The best time to visit this park is for the Kings Drive Art Walk in the spring.

This mini park is very cute. Great shots of the Uptown skyline but it's also a super spot to get your glamour shots. Pretty, well-landscaped including a "putting-quality" grass. You can't miss the "mirror ball" that looks like Chicago's "Bean" but is much smaller.Park over at the Metropolitan shopping center (Trader Joe's, Best Buy, etc.) and walk over here.The park is also accessible from the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.[Review 12572 overall, 2364 of 2019.]

Amazing! It is a gem in the middle of Midtown Plaza. Very well kept and pet-friendly. We liked it a lot!!

Really nice landscaping of this park. I ended up parking at the Metropolitan shopping center, but the walk to the park was across the street. It was also free, so you can take your time wandering around.What I loved about this park is there are different areas with diverse features throughout this elongated park. Great for strolls or jogging. There are areas with benches, large lawns, a waterfall, and even a public restroom (I didn't look inside, but the exterior looks modern and new).There's also not a lot of traffic zooming around and there weren't a whole lot of people on the trails. I think the only downside was that the creek had a lot of trash caught in it. There needs to be a clean up, but more emphasis on caring for local park spaces. It's sad to see all the pollution since it was such a nice place otherwise. I hope people really appreciate having this beautiful park within the city.

Beautiful area for Pictures! The background of Charlotte buildings are beautiful .. the area is well maintain and easy to park and get to. I love that there is alot of area for pictures in walking distance! And as a photographer you always are looking for something unique and beautiful and this spot is awesome..

Very nice park. Lush green lawn is perfect for playing. I take family photos here often!

I love this park! It's very convenient to the Metropolitan and Uptown. Great place to walk or bike ride along the Little Sugar Creek. Not sure where the Sugar Creek Greenway ends and Midtown Park begins but it is all nicely integrated.I love the great lawn, the sculptures, and the trellis walkway. Beautiful place to take photos. So photogenic!

What a beautiful space! Thankfully, lululemon is utilizing the grassy area for spring/summer outdoor yoga. The City of Charlotte (?) keeps this area so nice & well-kept. Plenty of people use this area to walk, run, & the kids use it to play. As Casandra mentioned, there is some nice art to look at. Additionally, the stone archways make for a nice backdrop for photography/picture taking.The only downside is you have to park at The Met, since there isn't any street parking.

I absolutely loved taking pictures at Midtown Park!!! It's so beautiful and it is surrounded by a cute shopping area and a great view of the buildings in Charlotte!!!
