Middle C Jazz

If you have never been...You MUST go and experience Middle C!! By far the best jazz club in Charlotte. (IMHO) I recommend going to the first show and the grabbing drinks afterwards! They do have food at middle c and it's delicious! We, however, attended the second show. I totally recommend getting there an hour early to check in and stand in line (if you're not a Baby Grand) tables are seated in the order in which you line up. Have the best time!!!

My fiance and I came to Middle C Jazz for a special Valentine's Day performance and had a nice time! This was my first time ever going to Middle C Jazz. I'd heard about it for years and was super excited to check it out! We went to the 8:45pm show and it was sold out so it was packed. We arrive at 8:30pm and got checked in immediately but had to wait in a line to be seated. I knew in advance that you should come earlier for better seating since it's first come first serve. Amd lesson learned, because we had sucky seats lol. We were seated with another couple and they were nice. But we were seated in a back corner table so I had to sit in front of my fiance and turn my chair all the way around just to see the stage. So, the whole show I had to turn around and talk to him, which was hard since it was loud. So, we will definitely arrive WAY earlier next time.The check-in process was a bit al over the place too, so the beginning was just a little stressful. Once we were seated it got better. Our server was great, honestly all the servers were working so hard. They were awesome all night! The food they serve is from Dressler's and was really good. We tried the key lime pie and a trio dip situation. We also had a delicious bottle of wine!!The performers were Noel Freidline and Maria Howell. Maria was a phenomenal vocalist and entertainer. She has such an angelic voice and really made you feel right at home with her magical presence. The music was wonderful!!! We really enjoyed the night once it got underway.

Middle C Jazz is a fantastic venue with a great ambiance, intimate, stylish, and perfect for enjoying live music. The service was solid, with staff ensuring a smooth experience throughout the night. The food from Dressler's came out quickly, which was great, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor and didn't quite stand out. The drinks from the bar were decent but didn't justify the price point, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the music and atmosphere make this place worth visiting, and I'd definitely return for the live performances!

If you love music? And the feel of a small New York City blues/jazz club with food that is top-of-the-line? It's worth the membership! BANDThe two lead singers were out of this world. You could tell when they started, they were warming up, and just got better as the night went on! Not to mention, as they got to apx. middle of their set? They didn't even take a break between songs, they just rolled from one right into the other!We knew the words to every single song, talk about a throwback!! I think if there had been a small dance floor absolutely there would've been more people dancing in the middle of the floor. However, as you can tell? It didn't stop them from making a love train (song) dance line that eventually almost met and to end around the club!We really need a love train right now, it was an amazing night, I can't wait to see the band again and hope I can bring more of my soul family!

The food was very good. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was relaxed, but energetic and a great vibe. These musicians are incredibly talented!!!!!!!!! I could have stayed here and listened all night. I can't wait to return. Lots of tables and booths. Plenty of parking in the parking deck. Hospitable staff.

The best jazz spot in Charlotte! I came here for an event and it is a beautiful establishment! When you walk in you are greeted. There is plenty of seating at the bar as well as in the room. The performances were amazing! And they have one of my favorite restaurants serving food which is Dresslers! I ordered the spinach dip and a glass of wine! Two great items on their menu! I enjoyed my time here. It was very entertaining and a nice grown and sexy vibe. If you're looking for a date night with good food and music! I highly recommend!

My husband and I came to see Arturo Sandoval. I must say we had a great time. Food was good, service was great and ambiance was awesome. Definitely recommend!

I have to say I am excited about Middle C. We just got there this past weekend but we saw a great show and look to see more in the future. The space is nice and parking is easy, just around the corner. Getting in was easy and pleasant but you may want to show up a bit early if you have a desire to get a closer seat. I will say there did not seem to be a bad seat in the house though. Our only complaint was the service. We waited 15min without anyone even looking our way. I finally was just going to the bar when I found someone to help us. It got a bit better but not a lot. Overall though this is a great spot.

Charlotte's best jazz location hands down. This place is a straight party if you are a jazz fan. Many great musicians have touched the stage and I'm pleased to say I've enjoyed every single night here. Service is always on point and the owner is always involved in the mix. There was a table that was talking a bit too much during the performance and the staff quickly and professionally handled the situation which allowed everyone to continue watching the show. The location is intimate with seating in a rounded form. Whenever I visit Charlotte, I always come here and will be back soon!
