Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant

This is a local staple in shelby. I've had so much on the menu that it's ridiculous. From the mango shrimp, to the quesadillas, to the la favorita, and of course my new go to The Mojarra!! It's a lightly breaded tilapia! It was fried well, it could have used a tad more seasoning. The guacamole salad was fresh and crisp!! Very much appreciated to get a bite of freshness! The servers have become like family to us, however, today we had someone we typically don't have and wasn't the Biggest fan of his! Other than that it's the spot to visit in shelby for good Mexican food. 7.9/10

Great fajitas atmosphere and cold beer. Service was great. I love the salsa bar with many options to enhance your meal.

The food was delicious. The staff was kind and helpful. The restaurant has a ton of space so whether you have a large or small group they are able to accommodate. The food came out fairly quickly.

Great food and fast service! Girlfriend loved the strawberry margaritas ! Only complaint wait staff never smiles like they don't want to be there ! But not a big deal ! Probably work to many hours and

A lot of people in the Shelby area really like this place, and since no one wanted to cook on a Friday night we decided on take-out. I looked at the online menu and the torta looked fantastic. When my husband brought the food home all I could think was, "Did they mess up my order?" Nope, this is their torta. I was absolutely disappointed. It was a very thin slice of steak with gobs of mayo and lettuce, a slice of cheese, two tiny slices of tomato, and a little bit of avocado. It was just as bad as you think it could be. I only ate half and threw the rest of it away.We also ordered the chori queso, which was really good, and saved the meal. My daughter had the cheese quesadilla and she loved it.Overall the food wasn't bad, just the torta was a total bust. Might hit up a few other mexican restaurants before I try here again.

We go here regularly for a group meeting. They have a traditional Mexican menu and I can attest to the burritos and tacos being first rate. Service has been especially good for a group of 10-15.

The manager doesn't seem to understand that 90% of the customers like the food but don't understand the music. To the customers, it's loud noise that we have to yell over to be heard, and every time you go in, it's even louder than last time. We understand that it makes the meal authentic, but they have to understand that we dont speak spanish, so its noise to the patrons.

Great local spot that has authentic cuisine. The menu is large and you'll be able to find anything you want on it

Poor service with poor attitudes. Food was just meh! Much better options close by. Do yourself a favor and pass on by.
