Great spot! Convenient and pretty quick, and love they got both lamb and falafel, either as gyros or plates. Just wish they would get some sides, at least some seasoned fries or something, but know it's tough with a small cart! Much respect to the guys for making it happen.Ps - hot tip, you can order on Door Dash for free, just choose pick up, and also allows you to pay with a card since they're cash only otherwise

The best halal food cart I've had in my opinion. Most people are familiar with the famous halal guys food cart in New York but I would say this truck is actually better because their white sauce is tastier and their meats are chopped and mixed into the rice way better. You will NEVER not be satisfied eating here. I ate here weekly when I was in Charlotte and still get it every time I go back to visit! This food truck is cash only and there is one located near UNCC and one in uptown which is a great grab before or after a night out. They have raised their prices now to $8 but it's very worth it. Portions are generous, food is amazing and super flavorful, and they're constantly cooking as people order so the food is also fresh. The staff is always super friendly and social too. I get their combo (lamb and chicken) mix over rice or their falafel. It comes with a side salad and a lot of white sauce. Their white sauce is not too thick or heavy which is great and leaves you wanting even more. Both the meat and falafel are amazing choices. You can get it over rice, over only a salad, or in a wrap as well. Their hot sauce is veryyyy hot so if you get some on the side you just need a few drops!

Best Halal food cart in NC. Possibly the best food per $ in the Charlotte area and I don't take that designation lightly.I always get the combo, chicken and lamb plate, with extra sauce. The meat is tender and flavorful. I always make sure to get the hot sauce. The rice isn't life changing or anything, but is a great filler and helps make this relatively cheap meal all that more filling. There is a brick and mortar spot that just opened up down Independence that I was told is the same people, but I went and it was more expensive and no where near as good. So back to the food cart I go!

Located in the old university book store parking lot. Driving by you might even miss it. Always a late night favorite and never disappoints.

Happy I found this cart!! I love a good chicken and rice with extra sauce and I found it. Cool fellas. The chicken was juicy and the red sauce spicy. I'll definitely patron this cart when I'm in the Queen City.

The food was fresh and tasted amazing! The prices were reasonable and quantity was enough for 2 people. The chicken over rice with extra white and red sauce was delicious. Will definitely revisit and try other menu items.

The Chicken and Lamb is superb. make sure to ask for some extra white sauce. Fast and great service.

Me and my wife used to eat here religiouslyBut what made us not ever go back was when i accidentally ordered 2 lamb salad plates with extra rice and lamb and 2 pita breads I even explained that I did not want a lamb salad but rice instead they made it seem like it was no issue until they still messed up my order and made it to their liking it wasn't until we got home that I noticed.I only had 1 pita bread instead of the 2 that I paid for and I was wanting them to still honor what I told them I even gave them back the first 2 plates so they remake the food issue solved right no they argued that I only ordered 1 pita bread when I showed my app for me ordering 2 and they gave me small skimpy portions when I PAID FOR EXTRA RICE AND LAMB the guy argued me down so I left and immediately contacted Door dash for a refund not only that what we did eat from here gave us food poisoning.Also beware these people don't wash their hands often I've seen these people smoke or leave their personal vehicles go back into this food cart without washing their hands only a heads up

staff was rude ! I paid for 28 for two halal plates and asked for pita. when I left insee that they didn't include it. I asked for the pita and he stated it was extra. horrible experience. They DO NOT value customers.
