Nice environment, friendly staff, and delicious food. I had the Mezcalis Best and it was phenomenal. The portion was so large too, I easily got a second full meal out of my order.

Been here a few times, each time great service and great food. The authentic tacos are delicious! The salsa is awesome! Haven't gotten anything bad yet and tried new things every time 100% recommend to anyone looking for a really good Mexican restaurant and wants a good ambiance and good food.

New Mexican spot in Huntersville. This is the old Chico's restaurant that went upscale Mexican and expensive with terrible food, then went out of business......... Mezcali is above average Mexican food with very, VERY moderate prices. We were super impressed with the pour of Tequila in the Margarita Special! If you want syrup, please visit the spot off Exit 25 (see my review)! I went with the Carnitas Plate. Meat was very tender and flavorful, large serving size. I order corn and flour tortillas, I am not sure which I like better, both very hot and yummy. It is a solid 3.5 or 4 --- bonus star for heavy pour and awesome service. Order the spicy salsa, it has a kick. But, not a super nasty burn, a very flavorful burn. You can mix it with the regular to suit your person spice index. Service was spot on, our gal took care of us. The manager checked on us. Lots of booths and tables....... My only gripe - WHAT IS UP WITH THE ULTRA BRIGHT LEDs? Please tone it down.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food in this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly but the atmosphere was pretty average. We started with fresh chips with two varieties of salsa. Medium and extra hot. They have a nice variety of beers on tap and the menu seemed quite extensive. I got the chicken bandera burrito which was phenomenal. Overall, the great food and service is a welcomed addition to Mexican food in Huntersville and I will be back.

One of my favorite Mexican places around. When we first tried this place we ordered take out and was not impressed. For whatever reason we decided to try again but dine in. It changed our experience and we go probably once a week. We like to sit at the bar and I typically order the ACP Mexicano. The service can sometimes be slow but it's always worth the wait.

Fun local place with good food and great service. I like spicy Mexican, but this place has it all, from hot to very mild. We always have leftovers for the next day. It's always at the top of our list.

I was pleasantly surprised by Mezcali! Unassuming exterior in the Food Lion parking lot. The decor is nothing fancy. The menu is extensive, the chips and salsa were great, and the food was really delicious! Portions were generous, prices very reasonable, and great service.We will definitely be back!

My wife and I lived in TX for 7 years and missed the great Mexican food. Mezcali brings us back to that grea food we enjoyed. The staff is very attentive and we have not had anything that we would not recommend. Highly advise to check it out. Best Mexican in Huntersville.
