Sat down no one acknowledged us. Sat and sat. Got a menu.. gross! Got up left.. do not recommend

A complete clown show. The bartenders are rude and incompetent! I was told no outside food or beverages allowed. No shit, I just bought the beer from you an hour earlier and you want to argue. Food is good if you're hungover. Greasy with no flavor.

I try not to leave bad reviews, because I travel for work and I generally don't think it's fair to judge a place off of one single experience. That said, I have been staying in this hotel every week for almost 6 months. The hotel is very nice, rooms are always clean, concierge lounge is decent and the staff there is always top notch.The restaurant Spark is decent, food is not bad. Service when they have it open is generally quick because it's rarely busy. That leads me to Mesh. When the hotel is at low occupancy, they close Spark and divert everyone to Mesh. No problem, I get it. However, they never have adequate staff and by that I mean the number and quality. The manager is often helping expedite or take orders for the one server trying to manage 40 covers by themselves. And the server, is generally terrible. Literally 2 out of 10 on multitasking ability. No pre-bussing, running one table at a time, ignoring new tables sat until they completely work out the current table. Tonight I decided to give them another shot because I didn't feel like leaving property and it was exactly like all the other times. I waiting for 18 minutes, for the manager and server to look at me and then walk by. I'll continue to stay at the hotel, but I refuse to spend money for dinner at Spark or Mesh. Breakfast service at Spark is good, but don't waste your time for dinner. You will be frustrated.Spartanburg has a surprisingly good food scene for a small town, so venture out. I'm at Lime Leaf getting Thai food, it's great. Or try The Kennedy, another place which is better money spent.

Great lounge on the ground floor of the Sparatanburg Marriott. This lounge has all the right stuff. Full bar, great bartenders (especially Bethany), TVs, pool table, Wii, couches, high tops, tables and a great main bar. You can order great drinks, appetizers and/or a fine meal. If your in Spartanburg and are staying at the Marriott make sure you enjoy this great lounge.

Would not recommend for a drink your way. Bartender seemed very distracted and didn't really care what customers wanted.

After an exhausting road trip we checked into this beautiful Marriott about 9pm.The front desk told us all 3 restaurants were opened until 11pm.Spark (the restaurant) was closed so we made our way to MESH lounge / bar area. Besides the people at the bar we were the only ones sitting at a table. After waiting a few minutes and no one showing up I walked up to the bar, the 2 bar tenders were so busy watching Housewives of Atlanta they didn't even know I was there. Finally some young girl saw me and we were able to put in our order which we put in all at once since we had so much time to decide.We ordered 2 appetizers ( hummus and some crab dumplings), 2 glasses of wine,2 salads and Mac n cheese with chicken fingers for the kids.They screwed up the order and brought us 2 orders of chicken fingers. When I brought it up to the waiter he was like "no' that's what you ordered. Very rude. Anyway, I ordered the Mac n cheese.The appetizers were tasteless, even Sabra's hummus which you can buy at any food store has more taste. Not to mention they put 3oz of olive oil in the middle of the hummus. What's that about.The salads were nothing short of what you can buy in any turnpike rest area food store.The chicken fingers and fries were good.The Mac n cheese I swear came from a Kraft box.All of this came out to over $100.00!!!!I was so upset!!!! The ambience was beautiful but the food and service sucked!Marriott really needs to look into the food department in that hotel because it's really poor.

We went here to have a drinks before the fireworks. Service was good and the selection was nice. I would go back. I recommend this place if you are looking for chill place to have a drink in Spartanburg. Marriott generally always does a good job.

This is a surprisingly great bar! I really don't expect much from hotels but I ate and drank here and had a fantastic experience. The staff was attentive and polite, the food was excellent and I would highly recommend anyone in Spartanburg checking it out.

I love this Restaurant. Food is always the most amazing the prices are very reasonable for the type and amount of food. A Must Try Is The Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding get it with Ice cream OMG it is sinfully good !!!!!
