Pottery painting is so fun and relaxing at Meg Art. I've gone with friend twice and the staff have been great. Super helpful. Great mix of people and skill level painting.

Hello, I've been coming to Meg art since I was a baby girl. My parents bought my sis and I a complete set so I'm constantly in there painting. I love the lay out of Meg art. It does get busy and packed but there's still plenty of room for people to sit and share paints and brushes.Meg art also offers parties where you can book out a table and it's so much fun! I really like how they do summer camps and programs for kids. I would take my kids I nannied, they always loved it. Meg arts truly is a spot for all ages and all people! The staff is nothing short of amazing and the owner is the sweetest most loving lady. They do offer drinks and snack foods but I like how you can bring drinks and food in with you and eat while you paint. During the summer they have a table outside and if you're lucky you can sit out under the sun10/10 will forever be my go to pottery painting place. No one does it like meg art!

Cutest art studio for pottery painting! We've done solo projects here and also attended many private birthday parties - both experiences have been organized, fun, and enjoyable for kids and parents! The selection of ceramics paint here is astounding... so many things to choose from that it makes it difficult to decide! The coffee bar is fantastic as well and adds an element of relaxation and pleasure while you create your art. This is a family run business over 25 years in the local area so don't even question it... Just go, create, and have fun! *protip: post a photo on social and tag @megartpottery for 10% off your piece at checkout

Great local gem tucked away in a plaza! The staff is super friendly and the coffee is AMAZING! Full of paint and hundreds of pottery options to paint. Pottery items range from $16-$150 so it can be a bit pricey if you're coming with a group or party however it is clean, quaint and super artsy so if you're into that kind of thing, definitely check it out.

Very cool place! I've done pottery painting before and this place had the largest selection of pottery available that I've seen. They had several mugs, saucers, plates and containers. The moment we walked in a young woman greeted us and made sure that we knew what we were doing and how to set things up. She walked us through the process. We were half-way through our painting when I checked in on Yelp and found a freebie from checking in on Yelp! Buy 3, get 1 free deal. Perfect because we already had 3 we were doing. After you are done painting, they fire your piece and it is ready for pick up in a week. You do have to come back to get it, so it is not conducive to those passing through. They have a membership which isn't bad if you go on a regular basis. It is $35 and it gives you buy 1 get the second 1/2 off and other deals throughout the year. I chose not to participate today, but I may do that because I have gone to others quite a bit. There are plenty of tables to sit at and space for people. They were having a birthday party when we were there. There were items to paint with other than brushes which was really cool such as tooth brushes and sponges. I used the sponge on two of my mugs. My husband painted a Kangaroo and I did 3 mugs. It was a great time to relax and unwind. I will definitely go back again. The only downfall is that this place is that it is more expensive than I've done at other locations in the Charlotte and surrounding area. Being on the more expensive side would keep me from going back too often; however, with the yearly membership, I would save more and get more for my money. I will definitely be showing my friends my new mug and telling them about this place.

Recommended for a family activity, or for some quiet time. The painting process effectively forces you to slow down and be present in the process. Similarly, fun and lively if with a group to be so.

On a little get away trip we found this gem! We came and painted our pottery a couple weeks ago, picked up the finished product today! Wish we lived closer we would def come back. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful! Although Madi and Kodi were the favorite! We will most definitely venture out this way and paint again! Don't miss out on this great experience here!!!!

Pottery painting is never cheap, but it's relaxing, I like this place. Their brushes need help, they're in pretty bad shape and fuzzy (then again, lots of children come here) and the quality of their paint is not the best, but you do have lots of options and lots of pottery shapes to choose from. They have a little voucher system that you can build points with to eventually get a cheaper or free item. Their personnel is always very nice and accommodating.

I have an absolute blast coming here to paint pottery. The staff is incredibly friendly and their coffee is phenomenal. I'd drive seven hours if it meant I could come to a great business like this again!
