This ABC location is a good one! They have a good variety of options to choose from and they keep it well stocked. It's in a good location right in Statesville Ave, among many other establishments such as food, grocery, gas station, etc.The staff is always friendly and helpful when needed. Give them a try if you're in the area!

I arrived at a time when the rush was suddenly over. The selection was varied and I was able to stock up on many items that were in low supply at my house. The staff were very helpful and i saw one of them step out from behind the counter to assist a customer. At the right time, this is a great location to shop.

I follow several bourbon groups who share what the local ABCs in their towns have in stock. Bottom line is many of these stores do a great job stocking good and often times harder to find allocated bottles of bourbon. Not here. It's like living in a communist country when you go in there to find anything. They did an event a year or two ago (allocated bottles) and had people lined up around the building to throw money at them. Now it's just pitiful. Look in SC or other counties but don't waste your time here. 3 starts because they aren't doing anything wrong really. It's a liquor store that sells liquor. Just nothing to get excited over like in other counties.

A nice selection of all your favorite hard libations and quite the friendly staff no matter the day or time you go to this Huntersville ABC location. Beyond these nice traits, they get kudos for two more things. They sell locally made Cardinal gin from the wilds of Kings Mountain and they have the worlds fastest receipt producing machine when you check out. From swipe to walking out the door in mere seconds. I like it and am sure it's much appreciated if one has the shakes and needs a nip ASAP.

This is unlike any of the other ABC stores that I have experienced. I could almost forget that this liquor selection was socialized.Walking in I, and every customer that followed, was greeted with a hearty "Hello!" In my grand tour of the ABC system this is the first time that I have been acknowledged immediately. The next thing you'll notice is the size of this place. It is much much smaller than the other stores around the system, and as a result they have changed the layout. Instead of the broad, diagonal rows organized by spirit, the arrangement is winding and more compact. It is refreshing, feeling less like a warehouse and more like a store that someone took pains to design. The selection of liquor is different, too. Out here in Huntersville it more resembles the ritzy SouthPark selection than the down-market Uptown fare. The gin selection runs all the way up to Hendricks (the top, for the uninitiated) but the pride of the store is clearly Scotch. The shop's juicy center is composed exclusively of the golden nectar and features brands most other stores wouldn't dream of stocking. Johnny Walker Red? Black? Green? Blue? You bet.And while I am perusing their bountiful selection, I hear a little banter about moonshine. The clerk and a customer are sharing tips, preferences, and stories about unusual backcountry experiences. Awesome. I am used to ABC clerks scowling with disapproval, not actively encouraging my biochemical recreation.

Not much changes between ABC stores in NC for obvious reasons of the state monopoly on liquor, but this one was a good stop for me during my pre-Thanksgiving purchases. As always, in need of good scotch, so I looked around for a while or something new with some friendly assistance before settling on old faithful. What makes this place nice; similar to the one in Cotswold, is that it's located right next to Harris Teeter so all of your shopping can be completed in the same parking lot! That makes me a fan!

First time stopping here since this location moved, what a night and day difference. Terribly unprofessional staff, to the point where I walked out without making a purchase. I'll just go to SC if I ever need to buy any liquor from now on.

We moved to NC and discovered how disappointing liquor sales are here. The ABC store is never stocked and even basic liquor is continually unavailable. How ABC managed this little monopoly is beyond me. Buy your stuff out of state. They'll never have what you want.
