Yea, this is a never again for me. Not only did I wait in the heat for over 30 minutes, went up and asked if they called my order number (after a number higher than mine was called) and they had to search for my ticket and say "we will work on it right now". Umm. As you see from the pictures $23 for 2 and a half oxtail. The rice and peas were salty and the cabbage was just terrible. I'm giving it a 1.5 because the sparkling grapefruit ting was good and the oxtail did fall off the bone but very mediocre. I'll pass on this!

We attended Markets at 11 today and decided to have MarlieQ's in the food truck court. It was nothing short of 5 stars. The customer service was amazing and we were offered samples of the plantains and a habanero hot sauce which were fantastic. I ordered spicy jerk chicken, rice and beans and mac n cheese with a pineapple soda. The chicken was so juicy and FULL of flavor. The mac and cheese was so thick and cheesy, and the rice and beans were awesome which means a lot coming from me because I rarely enjoy rice and beans. The pineapple soda was one of a kind. I would 100% recommend this company and would definitely eat there again!

This food truck was at Friday's and North End and it was sooo delicious. I got the oxtail, jerk chicken, rice and beans and cabbage. So, so delicious. Just thinking about it makes me want more. The hubby got the fried plantains and beef patty and also thought it was pretty good. Loved this place and hope to see them at many more events.

Is the sea of bland food, MarlieQ's Caribbean Queen stands out for providing deliciously spiced food to wake up your taste buds. The jerked chicken is a very mouth watering explosion of flavor. The beans and rice reminds me of flavors I experienced on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The baked macaroni n' cheese and cabbage are also good sides as well.

Ate at their truck at food truck Friday in Rock Hill. First I want to say the food is not bad it's just basic and I expected more. I had the jerk chicken and Jamaican beef patty. The chicken was dry but seasoned well. And to my surprise they Do Not make the patties fresh homemade? But you're a carribean truck...The patties are Frozen/bought I know because I saw them pass the box and open up a wrapped patty and cook it. Now that is a true turn off considering the expectation is all of their food would be home cooked and specialized for their expertise carribean food. I hope they do better next time. Very disappointed. I am giving 3 stars simply because the flavor of the chicken was good just wish it wasn't so dry.

NO RICE at a Caribbean Restaurant? This place comes to my job at lunch time. The wait in line is ALWAYS too long. You spend 20 mins in line and 20 mins waiting for your food b/c the people putting the orders together are on mobile phones and talking instead of working. After waiting almost 40 mins today I was told there was NO RICE for my order...it took an additional 5 minutes to get the beef pattie I ordered with the rice. I was refunded for the rice however, my entire lunch break was spent in line and they did not have 1/2 of my order. NEVER AGAIN.

Marlie Q's helped me bring in my 50th Birthday with a Spicy Bang! My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and there were lots of requests for.... "where are the oxtails?!" This was a catered event and the food was professionally prepared, presented and indulged throughout the evening. There was more than enough for all guest, and then some. The jerk chicken, cabbage, mac n cheese, rice and peas and plantains brought the island feel to the scene! I received rave reviews even days after the event and would definitely recommend them for future events! Thanks again for supporting this event! #CelebratingAllYear!!!Nedra

I visited MarlieQs food truck today. Being pescatarian, I was only able to try the sides. I had the cabbage, mac&cheese and plantains. The sides were filling and flavorful. The order taker was pleasant, she and the chef thanked me for my order. The wait time was reasonable, the weather was nice to stand outside. Hopefully my next visit there will be a fish or shrimp option. I would definitely revisit MarlieQ!

I wouldn't give this food one star, but I had to in order to do a review. I'm 46 and I've had Jamaican food all my life. This has to be the worse food I've ever tasted. The cabbage was hard and lack flavor. The oxtails had more fat on them than meet. The rice and beans were horrible, not fully cook. I literally was crunching on the rice. The saving grace was the plantains. This company should never refer to themselves as a Jamaican restaurant. The plate I ordered is the basic meal you order Ina Jamaican spot. This shit was trash! $32.00 for a plate of shit!
