While the decorations and overall design of the place was appealing, the food was horrid. I had the steak, chicken, and shrimp and it couldn't have been worse quality. The steak resembled shoe leather and was inedible. I choked down the chicken and the shrimp looked shelf stable. Even the kid's chicken nuggets, the simplest of items, looked toxic and was inedible. I have no idea how this place is still in business. I will never visit Margaritas again. Waste of money.

Beautifully decorated establishment!Ignore the Karen's with their asinine 1-3 star reviews for things such as "the menu was too large," and "my kid's chicken nuggets were like cardboard ." Ok I've been here a few times and the staff is so great, the food is fresh and delicious. If you are surprised by a cash discount, don't be. They are offering you a discount instead of charging you the 3% fee visa/mc charge them. Honestly, I'm disgusted by others reviews. This is someone's business and some of these reviews are just people whining about stupid stuff and give them low stars. Some people just look at stars and move on. Well, they deserve top scores especially since Covid when customer service and quality has gone down hill. Visit Margaritas off Celanese in Rock hill and see Alberto, he's "the best!" Get a cute pic on the wall with the wings and order a top shelf margarita...it's Aaaamazing!!!!Shout out to Chavez the manger. She's so sweet. Love it here. Thanks for the great lunch once again.

We went on a Sunday evening. Not very crowded which was nice. Food was good. Thankfully they will allow you to do lunch portions with an up charge for the evening or else it's pretty pricey. I had the lunch portion of fajitas which was actually huge and very good! Would like to try at lunch next time.

I noticed that there are numerous chain locations of Margaritas (plus I think this is also a sister location to Tony's Cantina at Riverwalk?), so decided to finally check them out! As expected, the place had a fun, festive vibe...complete with some fancy decorations (like these gorgeous lamp fixtures), Mexi overhead music, etc.etc. Unfortunately, we were seated in back half of the restaurant, next to 2 large family-packed tables, which killed all trace of ambiance. Like WHY?!? Just like Tony's, Margaritas had a very extensive, pictured menu, and there were many options we wanted to try. My husband ended up ordering Chicken Poblano...and I ordered their Pizza Birria, with a side order of Mexi Rice. For drinks, he got the Dos Equis, and I got the Sangria Swirl. My favorite was their drink, Sangria Swirl. Not only playfully presented, it was so delicious and strong! I ordered the small, and it was more than enough. My Pizza Birria was HUGE...much bigger than anticipated. It could have been amazing...but they ruined it with salt...as in WAY TOO SALTY. The Mexi Rice was good...not great. My husband enjoyed his Chicken Poblano, but wasn't too impressed with it. Sadly, the foods were just O-Kay. Overall, I left thinking that the foods were closer to 3 stars, but the ambiance and service was closer to 4 (though the seating was 1-2!). This whole experience was frustrating...because truly, the place had so much potential. Not only did I appreciate the fancy decorations and food presentations, I thought the pricing was quite reasonable as well (especially for such generous portions!). Unfortunately, they blew it. Again, TOO MUCH SALT...and BAD SEATING AREA (again, next to 2 family party tables?!?)!! For those 2 reasons, I can't rate higher than 3. Frustrating because this could have EASILY have been a 4-star rating. Thanks to some of its obvious perks, and its super-convenient location, we're sure to return...but next time, I know better to request a seating area up front (away from family parties!)...and to maybe even ask them to tone down on the salt??

My recent online order for pickup at the Fort Mill location was incorrect. The staff required my husband to show his phone with the order confirmation, which wasn't necessary in the past. While a woman apologized for the inconvenience, the overall experience felt unpleasant due to a staff member's harsh tone. The issue with the phone confirmation was the tone and delivery of the message. The food quality has gone down and the service needs improvement. I have patronized this business for over 2 years and to see it come down to this is so unfortunate. Food:2Service : 1

Be very careful with the menu look at the prices or ask if you don't know to ensure there is no miscommunication or assumptions on prices. As per their restaurant policy sign before you walk in "YOU ORDER, YOU PAY" "NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE, NO DISCOUNT". They also have a cash discount or a card fee. Haven't been to this building since it was the Mayflower. It then became a seafood crab, then a vet hospital, another Mexican restaurant but my aunt stopped by and we decided to check it out ourselves.Very nice decor everything is name branded cohesively with the restaurant name. Not sure if it's a franchise but definitely gives that vibe. Seems like a lot of money was poured out in the decor. Stunning colorful decor. Embroidered seats. It recently opened up not sure how long but they were fairly packed. We got seated almost immediately though which was nice and got our drinks orders in. About 10 mins of time passed before our drinks were done and the server came back to take our order. Ordered our food and it came out 10 minutes later. We ordered the mangonada and Tony's margarita. The mangonada is $9.99, priced fair and tastes stronger than the Tony's which is double in price and smaller in size. We didn't realize this til we saw the bill and we were shocked. We had to ask to make sure our bill was correct because the "jumbo" tony drink is the same size as the "small" mangonada but the tony drink didn't taste strong at all like no shot added. It's listed as just all frozen margarita flavors - faintly alcoholic slushy so I don't understand how that conclusion came about. We weren't even asked for our choice of tequila so we didn't think it costed much than just your average margarita mix but the manager told as later after we got the bill that it was a jumbo and $18.99. The menu doesn't have $18.99 for any margaritas either so I don't know. There's a jumbo for $10.99 but that's it. The quesabirria has a cold beef broth in a small gravy cup so I poured it all in my tacos without trying it first because it was too small for me to dip. It was spicy and I wouldn't recommend doing that. The margarita bowl was fairly whay you see is what you get kinda payin but simple. Would've definitely been nice to have more veggies and variety of textures. For $13.99 I feel like that is feasible. The chori chunga was also alright. Had veggies which helped. Got the cheesecake burrito which was kinda small. The ice cream was more icey than smooth/creamy. It took us asking just about 3 times for the bill for us to finally get the bill. We paid with cash because there's a discount over card and it would take more time for us to wait for our card/to get it back. Overall I feel like you pay more for the decor than the food/drinks. Everything is plated pretty though so it's a good spot for a modern Mexican sleek picturesque charlotte vibe with charlotte prices versus your cheaper family owned local restaurants. Beautiful clean bathroom as well. They have lots of workers and had a lot of customers so they seem to be doing well which I'm happy for them but I am going to stick with my local favorites and pay a third of the price for more flavor/foods.

Took the family to this location during a weekday. It was new in the area. Plenty of parking. Our family of 6 was seated right away. The chandeliers are what stand out along with wall art. It gives "Coco" vibes which I abs love. Menu was a booklet. So many choices to choose from which I'm particularly not fond of..it was about 5 pages front and back. I personally didn't like the food there. Kids food looked like cardboard nuggets. Everyone's meal was ok, nothing to brag about honestly. The two stars are for the servers and our drinks. Guava Margarita, Mango Margarita we're both super delish!

Naj and I wanted to eat lunch and had a taste for Mexican food in nearby Rock Hill, SC. We decided on Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, and we were so thrilled that we dined here. When we entered the restaurant, we were so amazed at the decor! It was colorful and has unique pieces of art and the glass art captures your attention. We had an amazing waiter who shared his empowering story to us. He recommended some cocktails which are featured in our post. The food was appealing to the eyes and scrumptious at the same time. We will definitely come back again!

When we walked in, we requested a table but the host proceeds to try to sit us at a booth twice. So we just ended up picking a random table. The manager comes and makes a big deal about us sitting at a table even though the hostess would not sit us at a table! We get out drinks and ask for PLAIN queso dip! The waiter brings out Texas dip, which has shellfish. (I'm allergic so I spotted the shrimp right away.) We told the waiter that we ordered plain queso, and he proceeds to argue with us about what we asked for. (No one ordered Texas dip, we didn't even know what Texas dip was until today.) As we were leaving, we told the manager about the wrong order and she doesn't realize that shrimp is shellfish... anyways... we weren't even there 10 mins. It was pretty in there tho, nice music.
