Caesar Salad - tasty! But a little overpriced for the size.
Pasta Fagioli - excellent soup and the hottest, temperate wise we have ever had! It must have been boiling in the back!
Veal Piccata

Called late on a Friday evening and asked if they could squeeze us in and the older Italian gentleman I spoke to was incredibly friendly and put me down. Now when we arrived, there was hardly anyone there and we were the only reservation.... so he led me astray letting me know he could squeeze me in but still, very nice! The inside is a little dated, but quaint and clean. We started with a Cesar salad, pasta fagioli soup, and their oil/garlic/vinegar dip for the bread. The Cesar was excellent though a little expensive for the size salad. The soup was outstanding! My wife loved the oil dip for the bread! For the mains we had chicken Parmesan and the clam pasta dish. I liked the Parmesan, would order it again tomorrow! My wife said the clam pasta was good, not as good as at the coast, but very tasty. Our server was efficient. He was nice and you could tell he was still learning . Overall we had a nice meal and will back! I was surprised it was not busier on a Friday evening. To those about to nosh, I salute you!

Service was good I had the chicken soup ($10) it had an unusual after taste. Salmon was $35 (the waiter said it was the special of the day he failed to tell us the price ). I felt it is over priced.$10 wine, if you ask for more bread there's a $4 up charge. Needless to say it didn't seem to have the value of $88.00. The ambience is nice, friendly waiter, manager seemed quick to be offended when I mentioned the soup wasn't appealing.

Second time here. Set in a (guessing) 1890s house. Very nice Italian music playing at a reasonable level. Service is very friendly and very good, though that may be to lack of customers. Mind you, I am eating dinner at 6:00 on a Wednesday. The Ralph salad was a standard Italian but very well dressed. Not too much dressing. I have eaten here twice, and the pasta is good and cooked perfectly, but I don't think homemade. And I don't think they advertise that, so no offense. Highly recommend trying this place.

We first visited Mama Mia a number of years ago and had an ok experience. Our friends recently raved about it and we decided to try it again. unfortunately we had the same result as the last time. Don't get me wrong, the service was good. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The food however was just ok. I am sorry to say that there wasn't anything that really grabbed me. We started with the calamari and then I had the Zuppa Di Pesce and again it was just ok. I think that there are better options in the Charlotte area, even the Lake Norman area.

Great Italian food! Don't let the outdated interior and carpet scare you away! The flavors and dish are real here! And their service was really great. My husband and I have brought 2 groups of out of towners here and everyone love it! Definitely worth the try! My husband got the chicken parm and I had the pappardelle. Sooo good. My parents got the veal piccata and mushroom ravioli

1- nice atmosphere (music, decoration and feel) 2- warm welcome from all the staff and someone who seemed to be the owner 3- the food was fresh and yummy. Suggestion:- the acoustic of the room we were in made it feel like everyone could hear your table conversation, so if you are looking for a more intimate/private space this may not be the best place. a solution for this is having less tables in the room

In town doing a training event so one of the sales guys and I decided to try a local pub. We didn't find it but did drive by Mama Mia Too and opted to stop in. Glad we did. Located in an old historic house when you walk in the front door you are greeted by one of the family members. We were taken to our table which would have been an old parlor in the original house. We were quickly given menus and the specials were explained. So many fine delicious sounding dishes the choice was very difficult. They were out of the Lobster ravioli so that narrowed it down. I opted for the scallop and linguine in a delicious garlic wine sauce. He had the scallop and shrimp in a decadent looking vodka sauce. The meal came with fresh bread which we used to sop up the sauces. Delicious. They also had Peroni in bottles. Not as good as on tap but still good. Sorry we were hungry and forgot to snap an pix.

Fantastic family owned Italian restaurant! The service is always good, recommend reservations for the weekend/Friday evenings. The restaurant is in a historic house in Huntersville so the feel is very cozy and relaxed. The food is always great! Full of flavor, never have I had a bad meal here. The calamari and penne vodka are both incredible!

We had high hopes, as this restaurant has been in business for many years. They have all the standard Italian dinners and they were all solid but nothing special or exciting.

Restaurant is located in an old home, cozy ambiance. Appetizers and meals were all good. A little pricey for the ravioli with only 4. Over all would recommend . The Lemoncello cake was fantastic. Disappointed they didn't have Lasagna or Spaghetti and Meatballs on the menu.
