Maki Taco

My wife and I both got the Chicken Hibachi and it was great . Will come back again whenever the truck is in our neighborhood

Awesome food truck that came to my community today. I ordered the hibachi chicken with veggies and rice, low carb hibachi chicken with double veggies and no rice, veggie tacos, teriyaki chicken tacos and spicy chicken tacos. Everything was really good! The spicy tacos were my favorite because they were really spicy. I added some shrimp sauce to cool it down. The portions were big and they give you a lot of chicken and vegetables. Everything was cooked perfectly!

The teriyaki taco and spicy taco had no taste difference and the hibachi tasted like the same chicken and (mostly) cabbage mixture thrown over rice. Found several bits of chewy cartilage in all plates. Definitely not worth $50 for three meals. Went home and ate leftovers because we were all still hungry

Yelp 3*= A-OK I have had Maki Taco one time previously at a Food Truck Friday in Plaza Midwood. I had the Hibachi Shrimp and it was good. I saw they were in my work area and I decided to try them out again for lunch. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken Low Carb which mean no rice and extra veggies. I'm rating it an A ok because the majority of my food was cabbage with a small portion of chicken and smaller portion of broccoli and carrots. I thought with low carb, I would have also received a bigger portion of chicken than I did. Also I asked twice not to give me shrimp sauce and I still received some. They don't put lids on the sauce so some spilled onto my food when she was wrapping it up to give to me. She saw what happened and changed it without me saying anything. The flavor was good, but a little too much soy sauce to my liking.

I placed an order to go on the food truck because my daughter said her food was good. I ordered vegetable tacos. Before I placed the order, I asked what kind of vegetables are on the taco: onions,cabbage and broccoli. I peeked in the bag, saw soft taco shells and left. I get home, it's 3 'ONION' tacos , couple pieces of cabbage and three pieces of broccoli.All I'm thinking is I paid $9.79 for onion tacos. Highly disappointed.

I had the chicken hibachi, it was delicious! the service was quick and they were friendly. I thought there was a decent amount of chicken, the vegetables were cooked well and the rice was also good. I would definitely get this again!

Both the hibachi and tacos from the food truck were bland. Not flavorful at all, only broccoli cabbage and onion. Just because you put your hibachi in a flour tortilla doesn't make it a taco. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I took a bite before taking a photo (I know, it's not food post 101 etiquette) but after the 1st bite, my brain wouldn't allow my hand to replace my fork for a cell phone! The end result was a belly of fresh & warm hibachi chicken happiness! O yeah and order extra sauce.. cause you may opt to take one as a shot..with a chicken and rice chaser! Yes, the sauce is that good! thanks Maki Taco! No rice was left in the making of this photo !

Best hibachi I've ever had and it's out of a truck!! Maki comes bi-weekly to my office building, and we go out in a herd together - in fact, we don't even bring lunch on #hibatchiwednesdays. Seriously, the food is so fresh and delicious every.damn.time. It even tastes so good cold and reheated too!!Jeff always greets me with a smile and even knows my name and order by heart - I don't have to say anything, but a big thank you for filling my belly!!
