Main Street Pizza & Deli

Started with a house salad, which seemed to be vending machine quality, served with packaged crackers. The pizza was equivalent to one that may be found at a truck stop gas station off a highway, complete with what seemed like canned mushrooms. I'm happy that people that are local enjoy this place, however it is simply below my personal standards of what I had hoped to be consuming.

Lexington has many restaurant options. Main Street Pizza and Deli is a good one for casual dining. Located on Main Street in historic Uptown, it is surrounded by small shops of interest. We loved their pizza and the picky kids did too!

Great food with gluten free options! It's a little small though. Very cramped and a little pricey, but good food and decent service. I'd go back again!

My husband and I loved our first visit here! They had amazing food at an awesome price! The service was immaculate! We were able to tell that it's a family owned business just by the warmth and kindness this place holds!! They also have recipes passed down and it shows! Please give this place a try!

Spaghetti was dry, ask for meat sauce with mushrooms and there was no meat in it. Canned mushrooms just placed on top. Cheese was out of a to go package and from the looks of the darkness it was old. If you are going to be a deli and serve pizza at least have good cheese. Asked for blue cheese and they were out. Ask for cheese on salad and it did not come with it but of course I paid for it. Service was ok nothing spectacular. Inside was updated but extremely plain I think it looked better before renovation. I don't think I will return. I use to think it was a good lunch spot but the food is lacking.

My all time favorite place to eat. The best service and food. The girls that are running the place now are wonderful. Give this place a chance.

I haven't been to Main Street deli in years. They have done lots of renovations, which looks better than the overall darkness it use to be like. The meatball sub was delicious. Servers were nice and friendly. But their roast beef sandwich that they are so famous for was so dry and the slaw didn't even help for moisture . It was around $8.00 for trash. The homemade bread was good. They need some kind of dip for that sandwich. I was very disappointed and I will not order that again.

Moved out of town several years ago but every time we come in we have to have a roast beef sandwich. Hope to see y'all soon.

My husband and I went for lunch the first time today. Samantha was a server. She was so sweet, knowledgeable about the whole menu and made great recommendations. We both had their famous roast beef sandwich. And we shared some pasta salad and potato wedges. Everything was delicious! I don't know how they get the meat to be so tender but it was the most excellent sandwich! We wound up bringing home some of their homemade pimento cheese and 2 loaves of their house made bread. If I wasn't so full from lunch I'd be eating that now! Can't wait to go back!
