We waited for 40 minutes before being seated. After we were finally seated, we waited another 20-plus minutes before the host came over and asked if the server had attended to us, which they had not. The server eventually came and apologized, stating she had no idea we had been seated.We then endured another long wait for our food, which turned out to be quite disappointing. I don't believe I we will be eating here again, if we do it will be for the hamburgers. We chose seafood, and I don't recommend it.

so we're in wilkesboro because stuff happens and needed something like dinner and the cutest of chicks was hoping for something like fish... so we are in hill country heading to a place what's made a name selling ocean-based victuals.after a short drive across town we pull up on a twenty minute wait and a pick-up line five cars deep that stayed that deep for the next hour and a half. our twenty minutes went by pretty quick, we got a booth and Katie swung by with hush puppies and went off to get some coffee and hot water for her tea (we bring our own bags because it's the south and ain't nobody has hot tea but the chinese) as we figured dinner out...I went with the catfish special plus slaw and potato and MLB had the flounder with potato and salad... salt and pepper catfish was unlike any I've had before, lighter and flakier than is typical and barely fishy at all but still with the distinct cleft. eats just as well plain or with lemon or cocktail sauce as is your pleasure. slaw is chopped and not overly creamed, captain's taters are thin and round and more delicately seasoned than you're likely to guess.the flounder was similarly light but had a mild fishiness to it that makes me go 'yumm! fish!' side salad with a well mannered blue cheese was fresh and bright next to the baked tater plus sour cream.

Service was great, we went in at 7:50 and they were pretty busy but got us in a booth in less than 5 minutes. Very clean place. My and my friend both got a 1/2 pound of crab legs with two orders of corn nuggets. Food was AWESOME!!! And the prices are great too! Will definitely be going back!

Spouse and I went there. The NY Strip Steak I had was very good. It was juicy and flavorful. My wife had the grilled shrimp which she stated was over cooked but tasty. The salads and the cheesecake we had for dessert were both excellent. It did take a bit to get the food but it was busy that evening. The service was outstanding. We will go back at some point and the wife will try another choice.

My husband got us lunch here a couple of days ago and that was the biggest sandwich I have ever seen. It was delicious.

Best beef tips with peppers and onions in the area. The cook here is phenomenal! The grilled Mahi is very good also. There are several gluten free choices here for me. They even make my burgers without a bun. This is my go to restaurant every time I'm camping in Wilkesboro which is a lot. LOL

We found this place on Yelp looking for seafood after the NASCAR race. OMG such fresh shrimp & the light batter on my husband's was perfect. Our waitress could not have been sweeter & efficient!! Too bad we don't live down here because we would be going frequently!! It's a comfortable place to eat & the music is playing at a much appreciated lower volume!! You won't regret going!!!

Let's say OMG the food was amazing ! The prices was so inexpensive that my husband order two dinner thinking the portion was small well they sure wasn't !! Don't mind that sign on the door of short staff service cause service was better then $$$$ places The place has a fast food vibe you Can tell it is a great local joint everyone seemed to know everyone .. takeout orders filled the counter and drive thru was hoping too and with all the orders happening we did not wait for our food ..ps the house salad excellent too .. don't live here but if I did sure doesn't pay to cook at home!

Great service. Good food. Try grilled chicken salad. Delicious! Prices are reasonable in this high inflation time.

Great service, great food. It was very busy, but the wait wasn't too long. The food was hot and fresh. Can not wait to go back!Ps the staff were all wonderful.
