Mac's Speed Shop - Concord Mills

Great spot for some good cold drinks and some really juicy burgers. I had the special of the ham platter. It wasn't anything to write home about. My side was the mac and cheese. Some of the mac was over done. And my other side was the cucumber and tomato salad i thought to be healthy but it was drenched in vinegar. I wouldn't order this again. My husband enjoyed his Route 66 burger with the fires. We did a to go order: they redeemed themselves with the bison burger. Wow! So yummy. For that side i did the sweet potato waffle fries. Home run! My husband had the smokehouse club which was good. Oh for the appetizer we got the egg rolls. That is a must!Service was great. Prefect for a low key date night.

We visited Mac's during our pass-through of the Concord/Kannapolis area this past summer. Mainly, we chose here due to the hours fitting with our travel schedule. We were very impressed! The ambiance was awesome, and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly, helping us choose since we had never been. All of the food was superb. We will definitely be back when in the area and would recommend for anyone to try!Something I liked was the hush puppy appetizer - they were very tasty, but the proceeds from the sale go to local organizations!

This spot serves up some good barbecue! I ordered the platter, which included jalapeño cheddar links, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and brisket, with fried okra and tots as sides. The kids especially enjoyed the pulled pork, but for me, the standout was definitely the brisket--it was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Overall, a great spot for barbecue lovers, and I'd happily come back for more brisket!

I love the consistency of Mac's. Confused when they don't have Legions Juicy Jay on draft but the beer selection was ok. Great service.

Great experience at this location. Sent in an email on the website, and Steve, the General Manager, responded very promptly. He was able to accommodate the number of people I wanted to sit together in a section. The food and service were good. I recommend and also plan to come back soon.

We were on our way home from spending several hours at IKEA. My Man had recently went to the Greensboro location and he really enjoyed the food! We gave this location a try. We were impressed! Mylan, our waiter, lit up like a Christmas Tree when I asked him what he suggested. With a large smile, he told me all about the Buffalo Chicken Wrap! The wrap comes jam packed with juicy chicken. They put it back on the grill so the wrap is hot and golden brown. With all the sauces sitting right at the table, I was able to try a squirt, or two or five squirts, of each sauce! That was my favorite part! My man had a burger and fries. I stole a few fries to try the sauces smothered! NOTE: my mouth is watering (actually gushing) just thinking about all those sauces! So glorious to have them right at the table to try as much as you want! Mylan suggest we get the dry rub wings next time and smother those! Absolutely!!!! Most Sincerely!

Anywhere that has great wings AND lets me get all flats without a hassle is my kinda place!This was our first time at this location and it's huge! I honestly can't wait to check it out during the summer because their outside seating looks nice, even on this sub 32 degree night. Kristinn (sp?) took good care of us and honored our request to keep things speedy because we were in a hurry. I kept it simple tonight and got dry rub wings (all flats, of course) and tots. The dry rub had a surprising hint of sweet but it wasn't overbearing. The wings were smoked to perfection. I even got a bonus wing making my order of six turn into seven. I was nice and let the hubby have the extra one. The only reason I cannot go with a five star rating is that my tater tots were cold. Had they been hot, I definitely would have granted a five star rating. I will save that for a definite return trip.

I have been a regular at Mac's for at least 4 years and I'm really not sure why. I've had several subpar experiences. They get our order wrong a lot. The food is never incredible but it's always decent. I've a couple of rude servers at the concord mills location. Once I was scolded by the hostess for not checking in first when I tried to walk to the bar area. The last time I went to concord they gave my friend the wrong burger 3 times before they finally brought the right one out. It was pretty crazy. They gave me the wrong salad but I just went with it. I love their Mac n cheese!! I also love their mimosas except went they put ice in it which they do sometimes. I know it sounds like I'm complaining but really I just want them to do better bc Mac's has so much potential!! Still one of my go tos!

The smell of a hickory wood fire as we entered the front door caught my attention. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. Russ our server was beyond great. We have found a great place to return- Soon. 5 STARS
