Luigi’s Pizza - Steele Creek

The best NY style pizza in the Charlotte area I have had, consistently. My family & I are frequent flyers here. Perfect cheese blend, seasoning, sweet sauce with a little zing, greasy but not too much. Slightly crisp crust without being burnt. Best when you get a pie fresh in-restaurant, but I'll ask for a pie lightly done when getting take out to allow for perfect reheating in the oven. Service & ambiance are good. It's a very standard pizza place. We usually order to go but it's comfortable & large enough to sit! The wings are okay. This is a pizza place. Get the pizza. Or at least the ziti. Nice comfortable space with order I g at the counter and table seating. Moderate noise level and good pizza and generous portions. Tip If you suspect it being busy call ahead to get your pizza in the queue.

Finally found a decent pie since moving here. Service was good for a takeout order. We ordered the White Pizza, build your own(bacon and onion) side salads and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was cooked well, good flavor, good ratio of toppings and sauce. Crust was crispy and slice size was generous on a 16".Cesar salad and Greek salad were fresh, and dressings were very good. Mozzarella sticks weren't greasy like so many other places. We will back for sure!!!

Pretty good! Pizza is mostly about the dough/crust. This is NY style to me. It's big enough to fold and crispy. Don't be turned off by the topic distribution. :)

I grabbed a pie this week for lunch. The employees were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately when I cracked open my box and pulled a slice, the pizza was in need of a viagra. 100% flop even after I folded it. Kind of a bummer. The taste was fine, but I don't think I'll be back to this location.

Just had the best turkey sub! Toasty roll with perfect amount of provolone,! Lettuce, tomato, mayo , oil and vinegar

The boys rock out some good NY style pie. Don't rush em ...they'll get it and do it right.. Casual atmosphere and it's as pretty darn close to a NY experience as you might expect...

God I love your Pizza but who is working for you? My Husband calls and asks for one meatball hero and one pan of meatballs with sauce and cheese. Huh, what, I don't get it is the reply. My husband says one meatball hero and one meatball hero with no bread. Oh ok. We can do that. Laaaaa and a Greek salad. 38.00. the meatballs were half the size they normal are and the price went up. I got two meatball hero's but one was just labeled no bread. Or I think that is what it said.the other was RUGULAR . I really don't think the order was that complicated but if I am paying 40.00 for two hero's and a side salad ..GET IT RIGHT.this is not the first time. I think the owner needs to spend more time with his workers PLEASE.I tell people to eat at your place and I am starting to think I should stop.

The pizza was so big that the box barely closed. The pizza was good but I'm still looking for a real NY slice and flavor.

Our go to for NY style pizza. Plain cheese or Luigi's special are the GOATS! We've been coming here for 15+ years. Always excellent. Great service.
